Avoid this company. As a job seeker over two years ago, I contacted this company. I have not had any contact since. To be honest, I have no recollection of ever speaking to anyone from this company. Chris the owner, however, called me 7 times out of the blue today. After declining his calls, he kept calling. It was hard to continue the call I was on, so I answered.
It was Chris, the owner. After stating what company he was with, I immediately hung up as I am not interested and needed to return to the call. Chris felt the need to follow up with this email: "Hi Kaylee, I am sorry you felt the need to hang up on me today. If you didn't want to speak to me you could have just done the mature thing and told me.
Have a beautiful evening and best of luck in your career." After informing him that I was on a call, did not have any contact with his company for over two years, and did not want to be contacted again he responded with this email: "Actually your phone just rang and rang. Every ring is not a new call in case you are unfamiliar with how phones work.
Again a pleasant professional MATURE ADULT reply would have been appropriate. Congrats on keeping that entitled spoiled millennial reputation going strong. Have a blessed day. Best Regards, Chris Crowley President/Owner"

The best as far as I am concerned! I have been in this business for twenty five years and have been working/in touch with Chris and his team for the last thirteen. The recruiters at PP are professional, available, and in the know. They'll guide you through the process, interviews to offer letter, all the while keeping your best interest at heart and negotiating to get you exactly what you are looking for.

Ugh! They promise you the world, they have the perfect job for you, exactly what you want, the ideal position, they'll contact the client right now and get back to you on details, etc. Then? Crickets. No response, no reply, no follow up, no phone call, no email, nothing. This happened to me twice months apart. So the whole song-and-dance was just to get your resume and get you in their system so that maybe, someday, years from now, they might call you for a one-day temp assignment for next to no pay and on the other side of the bay from wherever you live. A total joke and a complete waste of the time and effort I put forth.

Rita is wonderful. Although I mentioned job hunting was not my first priority at the moment, she still kept an eye out for any potential matches. Chris the owner, however, is rude and unprofessional. Not only does he not look out for your best interest, he will belittle you if you decide not to proceed with them. What a joke.

I think that a lot of people are very unfair, and have written things about Terri that are absolutely not true. Perhaps they don't like her bluntness, and how comfortable she is with herself telling others the truth. I had not worked in 4 yrs. and she placed me, and that says a lot. Yes, I did the interview and all, but she provided me with the opportunity, but I also know that she would tell people if they don't have a chance.
This could be for many reasons. Maybe she sees that they lack in character, which by readying some of the negative reviews, I think that too, and that's maybe why she didn't try for you! whoever u may be! I think she is awesome and knows her stuff, and so do the rest of them. Their administrator Gerry is another wonderful person, who answers your questions right away, and does everything you ask him to do. Thumbs up, Pathway Personnel

When I am met with such remarkable service, I feel compelled to share it. This is my first yelp review because I am truly grateful for meeting Terri Kent. After interviewing with 4 other agencies (who all told me that I was great and shouldn't have a problem finding work ), I felt like working with recruiters was a waste of time. I would go in for an interview with them, they would send me out on 1 or 2 interviews and then I would never hear back from them again.
I was beginning to feel insecure and less confident after going on so many interviews (doubling the count since I would often meet with a recruiter first). Then I met the AMAZING Terri (Clark) Kent - she was my superwoman. Her encouragement and determination in placing me at a good law firm kept my spirits and confidence up. Her communication and feedback was more than I could ask for - as soon as she heard back from clients she would contact you right away.
She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Without her support, I may have completely given up on trying to enter the legal field. After a few weeks, she landed me a good job working records at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman - a well-known and prestigious law firm! Thank You Terri!

Terri was a fantastic recruiter who worked very hard for me and gave me a lot of encouragement about my skills and experience. I met with Terri, and felt very good about my prospects. I gained employment on my own, one week after meeting with Terri- but I will not forget the positive experience I had at Pathways and would encourage anyone searching for employment to contact them as soon as you in San Francisco for help gaining employment.

When I moved to San Francisco I was desperate for a job. (just like everybody else, right?) Terry was my recruiter and she was as professional and reliable as I could hope for she got me interviews right away and was always direct and straightforward with me. Terry is a great ally and helped me tremendously. I highly recommend this agency and the team they have in place, to anyone who is willing and able

Dude, I don't know what is wrong with the rest of the reviewers, but Terry is the shit! I was in the throes of a desperate months-long job search, couldn't get ANYTHING anywhere else, even part-time or temp - and Terry went out of her way to reach out to me, meet with me, encourage me and give me numerous pep-talks, line up a bunch of high-paying temp placements for me, and call regularly to check-in with me - so I was able to pay the bills and stay afloat.
Not to mention that over the course of my placements I met a bunch of other people she had similarly helped. I guess the other reviewers on here are just uptight and hung up on a boxed-in idea of "professionalism" where the only acceptable behavior is cold and fake, but Terry is helpful, warm, and effective. She doesn't deserve the slander she has on this Yelp page.
I highly recommend Pathways' services to all job-seekers, especially those who are interested in working for law firms, since they are the bulk of Pathways' clients.

As everyone else said, don't use this agency. They won't call you back and won't find you a job. The worst part is when you first go in to meet with them. They promise you the world and have "the perfect opportunity" for you. All they want is to get you in their system. What happens once you're in their system? NOTHING! Oh, and that perfect opportunity? Yeah, you guessed it, it's magically filled only hours before you sign up with Pathways Personnel. Isn't that just the darndest thing? Shucks! Big thumbs down!

RUN! Don't walk away from this place. Negative zero stars, if I could. Pathetic to say the least. Pushy, unprofessional and just RUDE. The "lady" I worked with was totally unprepared, in a huff and complained of having hot flashes while I was in the middle of trying to tell her about what I was looking for. I had emailed them a copy of my resume and she hadn't even read it or printed out a copy and couldn't remember what I had applied for (she was the one who posted the job listing on Craigslist!) She was like an old sea hag that had smoked about 50 cigs before I came in to meet with her. How is it possible for a person like that to have a job while obviously there are qualified individuals needing one?

After working with a couple different Temp/Employment agencies with mild success I contacted Pathways due to recommendation from a friend. My response so far (after two assignments), simply put: no bullshit. Pathways: What are you looking for? Me: Temporary work in law offices. Reception or Records preferably. Pathways: Ok. Let's get you working. That evening I was called and had a job the next morning. I can imagine these results are not typical but it happened to me and I haven't been let down so far. Sign up.
