We get a deep clean once a month, and have never been disappointed with any of the cleaning services we got. So far, we have had a couple of different cleaning crews, and everyone has been great. The Liz crew is my partner's favorite because they use all organic and natural cleaning products. I highly recommend Anita's to anyone looking for quality and reasonably priced cleaning service.

I decided to hire someone to do a deep clean of our 2 bedroom condo before family arrived for a visit since the guestroom/bathroom is rarely used and needed a spruce and the rest of the house could use a good dusting and some dog hair removal. My experience with Anita's has been less than great. After scheduling an appt a few weeks out, the cleaner canceled 30 minutes after she was due to arrive due to car trouble.
This happens, but it left me scrambling for a last minute booking and having to rearrange my schedule. The next available crew included two cleaners so that seemed like a better fit for the size of home anyways. They arrived on time and got right to work, but there seemed to be some frustrations between the two of them concerning the amount of work to be done in the house.
They ended up staying an additional hour (so 3 total), which is understandable due to what all needed to be done, but was never communicated to me how much this would cost or that they had even planned to stay longer until I reached out to Anita's office myself. I never had a chance to give them my "priority list" though the office said they would pass it on as well and there were definitely things that were on that list that did not get done (ceiling fans, patio door, vacuuming corners of the rooms) on top of standard things that did not get done (dusting bedside tables, vacuuming behind the toilet, dusting open shelving, moving stools to wash the floor under the table, baseboards).
For the final walkthrough, the cleaners were already out the door on the way to the car and just yelled in "it's good right?" so I didn't really get a chance to say otherwise and just ran out with their tip and went back for a closer look after they'd gone. The things they did finish were done fairly well (the showers and toilets in particular had some hard water stains they removed that I know took a lot of work) and the beds were both made nicely.
But as shown in the photos, many things were left in a pretty gross state that I will definitely have to touch up and re-do before my guests arrive. In multiple areas I'm not sure if either they didn't vacuum/sweep before they washed the floors and stairs or just didn't clean the mop or water enough but there are wet clumps of dog hair stuck all over the place on the floors, walls, and shower tiles that were definitely not there before they started.
All things said, I still tipped them because I felt badly for how seemingly overwhelmed and frustrated they were while cleaning and they did work hard while here, but I will not be using them or any of Anita's services again based on the poor results for the $300 (after tip) that I spent. I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication from the office to the cleaners that this was a deep cleaning and not a standard cleaning so they underquoted the amount of time it should take and ended up rushing, but overall this was a terrible experience.

If I could give negative stars I would. This used to be a good housecleaning service - but since Rebekah left it has clearly gone downhill. Recently, I have had service cancelled with 2 different cleaners 2 weeks in a row. One cancelled an hour after they were supposed to be at my home. The second just cancelled. I never want to proceed with your agency EVER again!
This is the most horrible housecleaning service I have ever encountered. Not only will I NEVER use your service - but I will tell everyone I know and they will tell everyone they know, and so on. I just found out that that these "fly by night" cleaners are actually NOT bonded. This is the WORST service and I am stunned you can keep your doors open. Please remove all my information from your files ASAP! I don't trust you.

We have been using Anita's for a little over a year now since we moved to the Bay area. Every housekeeper (Maria, Julia, Lourdes) we have had in our home has been excellent. My partner and I travel often for work so it's nice to be able to have the housekeepers take care of our home while we're gone. This doesn't have anything to do with cleaning, but one of our housekeepers, Maria, was able to help us with our packages and mail while we were away for the holidays. We are super grateful. Unfortunately I had have some great experiences with this place and some not so great experiences. My friend had recommend this place back in the day as a cleaning service that was well priced, on time and did a great job. However, that has only been my experience half the time. The other times, we have some show up late or not at all, the prices raised double since when we started, and the quality of cleaning has been hit or miss. I wish I had been things to say as I used to love this place, but it has just been too inconsistent that I found a different business to go through.

I was looking for a cleaning service that would accommodate me during a time of need. I was 3 weeks in to recovery from surgery and their were several projects I could not do. My windows, bathroom and patio area were one of the Areas that needed some much needed attention. Called several places and they would not do it. Monica made my windows floors and patio area shine again! I was pleasantly pleased with her outstanding work ethics. She is a true Gem. Thank you for the excellent cleaning service you provided.

After having Anitas housekeeping referral agency at our office for years I saw how amazing they did, we had several different cleaners over time and each one was amazing! Rebekah who handles well everything on the back end is so awesome! She keeps communication going and is very detailed when it came to scheduling and finding the right person for your area and specific needs.
I finally decided to set up service for my home and again Rebekah treated it as it was her own home wanting the best fit for me! And I could not be more pleased.we gave on going services every other week and our housekeeper is beyond amazing! We have her here when we are at work and coming home to an immaculate home is such a great feeling. On the first meeting she asked a lot of questions showed me her cleaning products to make sure they were ok to use. (As some people have allergies or just are sensitive to smell I thought this was so thoughtful!) she takes her time but by no means is she "milking the clock " which I see so many people worried about.
She spends about 3-4 hrs cleaning out 2 bed room 1 bath, large living room And kitchen all with hardwood floors (That collects ungodly amounts of dust, puppy fur, hair, grass etc ) and it is worth every cent! Only regret I have is that I didn't start the service sooner!

The cleaners for the us were very awesome. Alma and Rosa were extremely friendly and very thorough. They left our house clean enough to where there were no comments from our landlord which is exactly what you want. Great service by the cleaners, there was a misunderstanding and I was very impressed with how David was able to handle it and be very understanding as to what was needed to fix it and where we were as well. Although it can be easily said he went WAY ABOVE and beyond on fixing the issue and I really mean that.

A great experience from beginning to end! Calling Anita's Housekeeping Referral Agency and speaking with Rebekah was the beginning of a positive working relationship. Rebekah was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Then prior to my cleaning day I received an email reminder and text confirmation which I found very helpful. On the day of my house cleaning Sanjuana was simply excellent.
She was very professional and friendly and worked 4 straight hours getting my home in tip-top shape. After the visit my credit card was conveniently charged and I am now on a rotation schedule. This was such a simple process from beginning to end and I highly recommend using Anita's Housekeeping Referral Agency.

I have used Anita's Housekeeping Agency twice in the past year. Both times the ladies were so kind and sweet. My house is a mini-labyrinth to find in a sea of apartments, so I appreciated their timeliness (despite the added stress of locating my place). Both times the ladies asked me to show them around the house and highlight what I wanted prioritized.
Both Andrea and Lety were wonderful - they dusted and got in corners and cracks I sometimes forget are there! They were both friendly and would share some conversations when we were sharing the same space, which I personally enjoyed. I would recommend this service to my family and friends - I'll be scheduling again in a few weeks.

I truly would give zero stars if I could. A clear cut waste of my time! You will end up redoing everything! *This was us giving them a second chance - Huge mistake.* First, the cleaning lady showed up 25 minutes late. Ok fine, we'll work with that. Then it was downhill from there. She was on her phone when I went upstairs to print a document.
She wasn't systematic at all! She bounced from room to room. Cleaning - definitely not up to par! She barely had any cleaning supplies which I noted too late. I happened to walk past her bag which was open. Wow! I don't even know if anything was disinfected. What troubles me is that I asked her if she needed anything when we discussed everything, and she said No.
I was in and out of the house. But later she asked for a vacuum (which was fine). The floors that she did do.sticky. Disgusted. There were multiple things WRONG namely my shower which looked worse than when she started! I've honestly never seen anything like it. Then later upon further inspection, she didn't even clean it.she simply tried to clean the windows and failed.
She was here 5 hours and got down to my 1st floor 30 mins before it was time to go. When asked to stay an extra hour, her response was that Anita's takes half of her earnings so No. She basically also told us in a round about way that she doesn't care. Which explains why she took her sweet time & did a terrible job! At the end, she tried to give my husband the number for her own business.

This review is only based on my first experience with Anita's since this can be different depending on who you get. I was scheduled with Blanca and she did a pretty good job. She was on time, very sweet and very polite. She took care of everything we asked for. There were a few detailed items were missed, but we definitely got what we paid for and are so thankful.
This is my first time having a cleaning service so I don't have much to go by. The receptionist was very professional and was able to find someone to help us clean just a few days before Thanksgiving.

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience! The two cleaning lady showed up 30 min late, it took them 30 min to park and come to our place which I don't know why it should take anyone 30 min to park! When I book the service I told them I need 5-6 hours minimum. When the girls arrive, they tell me they only have 4 hours! I specifically ask them if they can finish the job in the time they have and they said yes!
They get to do only half of the work.plus they were so unorganized and they put all my stuff in different places so at the end I had to spend another 4 hours rearranging and finishing up the work they got paid to do! I will not recommend this company because cleaning is very personal and with this company you don't really get to know who's coming to clean! I was under so much stress with the horrible job they did!
