A-Star is a wonderful agency. It was my first time being hired through a staffing agency and Amanda and Melinda were spectacular. They really listened and took into account what I was looking for, and matched me with seemingly the perfect job for me. It was exactly the environment and people I was in need of and searching for in terms of employment and their turn around time was just amazing. I am now a permanent hire and couldn't be any more thankful!

Amanda actually listened to me when I told her what I wanted. I was a job developer for over a decade and I know how employment placement usually goes. the agent has accounts with job sites and they find fits for those jobs based on reliability. Amanda was abnormal! She listened to EXACTLY what I wanted and found the PERFECT job for me paying the PERFECT salary! Melinda was amazing also! She was responsive, supportive and professional. I'd refer anyone to A-Star! They are TOP OF THE LINE!

She provided helpful tips on my resume and after interviewing with her she was able to help get me a temp position at an insurance company. That has now turned into a full-time position that has the environment and compensation I've been seeking. Amanda was so thoughtful every step of the way and I could tell her recommendation was a big part of what got my foot in the door. Kudos also to Melinda who did a great job answering my questions when I reached out. It's amazing they helped me out as much as they did for free. I want to praise A-Star staffing for such great service! I was looking for a career change and while this can be nerve wracking and one can experience a lot of self doubt, Diane and her staff were so helpful in finding a new position within a great company. They were able to coach me throughout the screening, interview and hiring process. It's like having another shoulder to lean on during a challenging and personal time, which I cannot appreciate enough. They really empower and support you throughout the job search process. Worst staffing agency ever. They have awful clients who are cheap and already on their way out of business. Amanda couldn't care less how employees are treated and will stick you where ever just to make a quick buck. Their time card system is outdated and inconvenient, they do not invest in making anything better. It's obvious everyone at A Star are doing the bare minimum. Only good if you need a week or two of working menial labor, but even Labor Ready would be better.

The team at A Star Staffing is truly amazing. They really look out for their employees and work so hard to try and find a job that matches your career goals so you can be successful. Diana, Melinda and Lauren were so amazing throughout the entire process and were always so reachable and welcoming. Looking for a job after college was really difficult and I felt like I could do it without the help of a staffing company, but applying with a Star relieved so much of the stress that comes with applying for jobs.

If you aren't sure about staffing companies and don't know which one to work with let me tell you using a staffing company changed my life and my career path. Thank you so incredibly much to the team at A Star, you are all amazing!

I have just started working with A-Star and they are so awesome! Especially Amanda! The whole staff is nice and accommodating. I had to take a pause in my job search due to a month long trip, but the whole time before I notified Amanda, she always kept in touch& kept me up to date with any and all offers within my boundaries& expected pay rates. With my experience, A-Star had multiple offers every time I was emailed too, I'd say about 3-4/month.

A Star did a spectacular job - from screening to my first day of work (at the amazing company I got a position at) - of helping me feel confident, walking me through all of the processes and preparing me for interviews. I have been trying to get in phone contact with a recruiter from this staffing agency for three weeks now.have batted zero conversations with a staffing specialist as of today (3/12/18). Emails from A-Star staffing received after my follow up emails and phone calls to them state that they will let the placement staff know that I am very interested in getting the process moving forward. I have yet to receive a phone call. VERY discouraging and disparaging considering all of the positive YELP reviews for them.

They strive to find you work for companies that are aligned not only in terms of skill, education, and experience; But they also align you based on how you like to work and preferred office environment and setting.
