We paid for the service several weeks ago and were sent resumes that didn't fit our needs and then when we finally found someone and scheduled an at home interview with the nanny, she didn't show up. We finally got word from someone new taking over Choice Nanny that the other person who ran it for years just up and left (Lacey) and seems to have left everything in shambles.
She admitted they never scheduled the interview with the nanny that my husband and I came home to do. The new head (Cathy Crossman) promised she would find us a perfect nanny and that she was so disappointed in A Choice Nanny and that she wanted to show us they would win us over and she would come out to meet with us in person. After waiting almost another week, she sent me one resume with a small description that the nanny liked to "nanny, play, sing and do storytime" and they asked if I thought that would be a good fit.
For a professional service I was appalled this was the one "good" resume they sent me and like I would know if this person would be a good fit or not. When I asked if they had any more, she text me and said she wasn't going to be able to meet me the next day anymore and that they were just going to give me my money back because they are so unorganized and can't help me right now.
What a joke! She wouldn't even do me the courtesy to call me even though I asked several times. This new lady Cathy seems ten times worse that the previous lady who also apparently ran things into the ground. I would HIGHLY recommend not going with this service, they set us back weeks in our search and now we are scrambling before the kids go back to school.
