I really enjoyed every placement I received from Emerson. I was going to school and my schedule was complicated, they companies I placed at we're understanding and very generous. They made me feel like they valued all their employees.

Very professional and responsive staff. They listened to what we needed, were flexible in the timing, and found us two terrific employees.

They called me up and helped me find a new contract job. Very grateful.

A very professional positive place. All the employees I've ever dealt with are helpful and polite. They were willing to work with me and my limited experience. Emerson group is well known and has many connections all through out the area so I've been able to be employeed consistently. Overall I have and will continue to recommend Emerson to anyone seeking work.

Emerson quickly found a temp job for me on August 29 2016. I was at that job for just over a year. Since leaving that job, and asking Emerson to find employment for me I have not heard from them at all even though I have an impressive resume and a lot of experience. I never receive calls back from them after leaving messages. They are not all they present them selves to be.

Signed up w Emerson two years ago having a BA and years of diverse Com experience and other than taking those miserable computer skills tests can never seem to get their attention. I have reached out to them several times but have now given up. Will try the more professional level staffing agents e.g. those who return phone calls and actually help you find real work. Already wasted too much time w Emerson. Sad.

Emerson Personnel is a gem among what I have heard are generally unsatisfying temp agencies. This review is only based on my experience with the company last summer, for the duration of which my assignment lasted. Pre-job assignment stuff--typing skills, questionaires, etc.--is status quo as far as I can tell and if anything more detailed and useful to job assignments.

Within about a week and a half of visiting Emerson, they called me with a job. Mind you, this was the end of May and they found me a legit job at a point in time when most college kids have no hope beyond retail and food service. Job locations are spread out; although I live quite close to the Emerson office, I drove about an hour (40-45 minutes really, the way I drive) into Pennsylvania for a 40 hr/wk job with actual responsibilities and learning opportunities.

I can see it being a hassle to turn in time sheets at the end of the week if a person lives out of the way, but it worked out well for me. My MapQuest directions the day I had an interview were wrong, and I called them to let them know I might be late. They were completely understanding and helpful. They promptly mail out pay checks weekly. And once settled in a job, Emerson pretty much steps out of the picture except to make sure employer and employee are happy from time to time.

Not sure how transition from assignment to assignment works out, but I can't imagine it's very complicated. And if I were around again this summer, I would likely pay them a visit.
