One of my favorite Goodwill locations I've been through! Great prices and even better staff.

Great place to work. They care about their employees and the community.

Literally the most overpriced goodwill I've Been to. Lots of stuff with stains. They didn't have many name brand items

Parking is in rear of building, with alley entrance and exiting.

I have just had the most embarrassing confrontation in your store on Brownsboro Road. I have shopped Goodwil weekly for years. I give friends Goodwill gift certificates for Christmadm. I donate to Goodwill each year. I am retired from the media in Louisville and I respected member of this community. I purchased a piece of furniture and I was having trouble finding someone to pick it up.

I came to the store and explained my problem and told a female mamager to charge for storage and I would get someone to pick it up. I hired a man and to pick it up today. It had been sold to someone else. The delvery man told me I would get a refund. I came to the store and I had a receipt from the purchase. I had thought for several days I had been over charged for some dishes I bought.

I was going to consider it a donation. But I was angry and requested a refund for that as well. It was $40.00. I told the manager if he found out I was mistaken to tell me. He went in the office and reviewed film and I was wrong. I gave him my credit card and he took back the $40.00. I was shopping and had a basket filled with things to purchase. It occurred to me the money I gave back included my $15.00 refund for my furniture that was sold.

When I ask to that manager again he had left for the evening. Another manager came to where I was going check out. I explained to her what I wanted and I told her I would talk to him tomorrow. I continued to shop and the female came to where I was shopping. She was very LOUD and said she called the other manager and said he told her to tell me to get out of the store.

She said 'You are a liar and get out'.she said her husband is a doctor which had nothing to do with what was happening. She told ME LOUDLY TO GET OUT. Everyone was watching. It was horrible. I wanted to purchase but she told me to GET OUT OVER AND OVER. When I wanted to check put she SCREAMED AT ME SHE WAS CALLING THE POLICE. I left andI still shaking.

That woman needs to be fired. You do not talk to people that way. If the other manager told her I was a liar and to throw me out he needs to be fired as well. I plan to pursue this until I am satisfied with what happens.

This store is a little awkward to get into and out of (be prepared to take it slow as you're leaving - the way out is checkered with some pretty deep potholes) but if you're able to score some good bargains then the trip will be worth it. This store is much smaller than the Goodwill that sits on Taylorsville Rd and isn't nearly as nice. It's probably what you would picture when you hear "secondhand:" cramped, musty-smelling, and inexpensive. We found a few books and three pairs of pants for my son - all for $11. There are two dressing rooms in case you need to try the clothes on before you buy.

Okay, so this Goodwill is one step up from the Goodwill in Phoenix Hill, but it's still. desolate. It's as though Goodwill built this store and then threw up a piece sign and left. I don't blame Goodwill per se, I mean realistically Goodwill is what people donate, but maybe some paint on the walls could distract me from acknowledging that this place looks a lot like where Patient 0 would start chowing down on human flesh and initiate the zombie apocalypse. Yes, the flickering fluorescent lighting adds to the whole thing. If Phoenix Goodwill is "Crack Goodwill, " then this one is "Creepy Goodwill." The search for the goldmine of Kentucky Goodwill locations continues.

This is an older, smaller Goodwill compared to the big shiny new ones around town. I really didn't believe it when I was told that this is the rumored "best" location when I arrived on site. But I have found that this one has the best selection of women's clothing. I am always able to find brands such as Ann Taylor, Loft, H&M or Merona here. Sure, I don't always need it.but I can't leave without it! Plus, I can't say no to Goodwill prices. The only thing I would say is that I am not always able to get that odd, Goodwill smell out of the clothes. Anyone has any suggestions?

This place was alright. There's a lot to look at and find but It felt very crammed and was crowed with people. It sort of smelled like a dog too, which was off-putting to me, but some people could be into that.

This store has a couple thousand books on the shelf. Of roughly 20 Goodwills I have visited in the midwest, this is by far the best for books. They are conveniently placed on shelves, easy to view, and a bargain at.50 a book.

Tip: parking and store entrance is behind the building. Don't be deceived by the parking spaces painted in front. This Goodwill has our 2nd favorite furniture selection.
