Barbara hands down is the best, most responsive, and most personable HR rep I've ever had. If I have a question, she has an answer. If I have a concern, she has a solution. She has allowed me to stay focused on learning my new position as opposed to worrying about all the extra stuff that comes along with this journey. Thank you Barb. Your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.

There was zero communication between Dako and the company I'm contracted for. They had no idea I was showing up and Dako told me they wanted me there on that specific date as if they had communicated. I had no idea what the pay was to be, they told me the wrong hours, onboarding software is outdated and a joke. Have emailed questions a few times with no answers.
Didn't even get the address. Luckily I was able to google it (not easy to find) having to log hours only on a laptop/desktop is just dumb. Then "orientation " was a bunch of pdfs I had to download one at a time. It was a big headache to get started!

Went in for an interview and I was about 3 minutes late because I didn't know where to park. She still interviewed me and basically strung me along giving me the impression that I secured the job. Trying to contact her was a nightmare. An email and two voicemails wasn't enough so I called again and she told me that they weren't going to pursue me further because I was three minutes late. Why didn't you just tell me that the day I interviewed.

I was hired in as a Warranty Parts Processor for VWGoA Warranty Parts Return Center in Auburn Hills, MI this week. And the treatment has been nothing but pleasant and rewarding. The environment is productive and welcoming. The teamwork unrivaled. Raymond Hobbs took very good care of me. I accepted the offer immediately. Time and care went into my hiring transition that was appreciated. Jason and Barbara made my offer even easier to accept. These names are important. Work is fun, now. Its not work. Let them do this for you.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value I did not have a good experience with either of my representatives here. This company does not stand behind their contractors at all. Their internal churn was high as well, employees didn't stick around very long. I was so relieved when my contract was over.

This place is unprofessional. They will not pay you correctly. Beware! Their practices are illegal and Michigan Labor and EEOC will be informed. Jennifer in payroll will mess your check up and lie and cheat you out of money and place you on speaker for her colleagues to listen to her belittle you. Do not go here. Use a more reputable agency like Addecco, Kelly Services, Pontoon, Select Staffing, Randstad or OfficeTeam. Not this group of scammers and idiots.

I have recently resigned from this contract where I was a Sales and Service representative.this company is the worst I have ever seen.first I was promised to have days off prior to my start day that suddenly they had no record of.they are extremely unprofessional. If you call a rude woman answers and transfer you to a vm.overall if you need a job real bad and for a temporary basis go ahead and apply.just make sure before you accept the position have all the time off you request in writing because once you start working they get amnesia. also do not believe the hype of you will be hired at VW Credit it is a lie it's solely based on favoritism not your work ethic.

They don't pay for the holidays that the client that you are assigned to are closed for. This means NO PAY for the days that they are closed. DAKO offers no paid time off. If you are sick, NO PAY, jury duty, NO PAY, court summons, NO PAY, your mom dies, NO PAY. Forget about vacations. You get the idea, working contract is horrible. They do provide a small vacation benefit of sorts.
For every year of service, they provide one week of pay on your anniversary date, but you must request it. The benefit is not automatic. If you don't ask for it, you don't get it. Health insurance is self-funded, (DAKO doesn't buy a policy, they pay for the claims directly through a managing company), so they have huge deductibles, huge co-pays, and they try to deny every claim.
How much for this wonderful coverage you ask? $17,000 a year for a family. (Try Obamacare you say? Its $19,000 for me. THANKS OBAMA!) The upside, I was paid very well which help offset the unbelievably expensive health insurance. The HR staff was very friendly also. Sales people, not so much. These are my opinions, your personal experience may be different, but I doubt it.
