ROCS is such a great agency to work with for anyone looking to get their foot in the door. I met with Dottie, who was not only extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process, but within two weeks helped me land an amazing job that aligned with my interests. My experience with ROCS has been truly outstanding. I worked with Abby. She helped me procure interviews in roles that suited me and my experience. With her assistance, she set me up with 2 interviews. I received one offer! She acted with grace and compassion when I had to respectfully decline the role. She listened to my concerns and my hopes/wishes and proceeded to fine tune my prospective opportunities for something that was better suited for me. Man Rob was a blessing come true, I have been in the job market for roughly 6 months I've had luck with some recruiters majority of them not so much. Rob literally made me his priority he set up a few interviews for me so we wouldn't have all our eggs in a basket. He landed me a temp to hire position with an amazing company. I'm just 3 weeks I was offered an offer sheet to come on board as a full time employee. Ask for Rob Matyas that's your guy!

ROCS Grad Staffing is a great agency to work with for whoever is looking to move to the next level in their career search. I haven't heard about them until I started working with them. And to be honest I was skeptical at the very beginning until I got a contract through them in one wonderful company with great work culture and environment. Another great thing about ROCS is that they follow-up more often to check on you since we all know that changes always in one way or another affects us, and they always there to clarify your concerns if you do have some. My experience with ROCS was great. My recruiter Jason Brown went above and beyond for me. The interviewing process can be pretty stressful for me but working with Jason helped relieve some of that anxiety. He's a true professional. ROCS for me is a dream come true. Everyone that I have had to interact with has been nothing short of amazing and selfless! They are very hands on and professional but also friendly. The person on the phone was sweet, but as far as progress goes- I never got an interview with the salary advertised. I tried 3 separate times. The jobs they advertise. I'm not sure actually exist. I don't plan to ever use a recruiter, because what bothers me the most, is the name of the company is hidden, so it could be a horrible company and you wouldn't know it until after setting up an interview which is time consuming.

I know it's tiring, but just apply jobs for yourself. Some examples is: your college job board, career shift, and indeed. Look up the name of the company before applying to make sure you care about their mission and they take care of their employees back.

Update: I applied for a position that this company was representing and of course the brush me off again. When will I ever learn that this company sucks!

So I had an interview with ROCS in January and at the interview the two people were so interested in me and enthusiastic so I felt like this would be a great staffing agency for me. However it has been radio silence since then. I never heard back from the guy who was supposed to be my go to person. No follow up calls or email, no job placements, not even a hey are you alive. So for anyone looking for temp work I would highly suggest you stay away from ROCS.

Don't bother. Any other recruitment agency in the area will be more than willing to help. These guys? Nope. I didn't show up to a "formal" first interview to talk about my resume because my dad ended up being admitted to the hospital and later that week passed away. This was in November 2018! I called them several times after and they hung up my calls.

I then formally emailed them this week (MARCH 2020) and Mr Brandon Labman informed me that since I missed the "interview" in November 2018 that they refuse to move forward. WOW. First of all the "interview" was more of an In person first meeting to discuss my resume. It was not a formal interview. Nor did the employee bother calling me when i missed the interview to ask!

If he had, I would have told him the family emergency I'm going through. They're TERRIBLE human beings who pick and choose who to help. Why would you want such exclusive people to help? Go to sparks or Randstad. Do not go here

While Initially I was incredibly excited about the opportunity, I am so upset that no less than 30 minutes after a phone interview, A rep called my current place of work to introduce their services. This could have cost me my job. I work in a very small office. When I emailed my recruiter about the situation, she said the two weren't related, which seems very improbable given they have never called our office before giving them my information.

All I got was a short apology and the " If I have any questions" response. They used me to solicit their services and might have cost me my current job. REALLY disappointed and upset.

I sincerely wish I could give this place a better review, but I don't want anyone suffering the same problem as I have. My recruiter, Pete, seemed more like a terrifyingly high pressure salesman who got easily upset for every little thing. And I mean EVERY little thing. This guy cared more about making a sale than anything else. I mean he was forcing these immensely low-paying, almost odd-jobs down my throat so bad, I simply couldn't say "no" to him without getting an earful of rude, snarky, and pressuring comments such as "I really don't understand what you mean, why aren't you taking this job?" He drove me insane, and I honestly felt relieved when he finally hung up the phone.

The companies ROCS clients out to aren't NEARLY as "high profile" as he makes it seem, not by a long shot. Any roles that actually interested me, fit my skill set, and relevant to what I wanted and could do would either be somehow out of my qualifications, taken care of elsewhere, or "not the right role for me". What? I'm surprised as to where these 5-star reviews are coming from.

I wish I had that experience, but sadly, me and anyone I know will keep Pete and this company far away. I hope this company finds success and I wish it the best, but I think it's important to share my criticism so the company, and my recruiter, can learn and grow from its mistakes. As I'm writing this, I really hope it was just this one specific recruiter and not ROCS as a whole.

ROCS is an amazing staffing company. Robert helped me every step of the way and was friendly from the very first interview, which helped me feel comfortable moving forward with the company's recruitment process. I got hired by the first company I interviewed with and I'm so excited to start my new career in the nonprofit sector! I'll be doing exactly what I want to do and I couldn't have gotten here without the incredible ROCS team.

Finding the job that fit me best took some time, but after 5-6 months, I was able to find a job aligned to what I've been searching for. Kyle was extremely helpful and kept me well informed during the whole process. The only thing I don't like is that he guaranteed and promised me that I would be hired on permanently within 3 months-- which is not true. It's based on the contract agreement between the staffing agency and the company itself.

I was upset to find that out after leaving a job to accept a pay cut for my career starter. For someone who is just starting out and entering the job force-- definitely recommend using them. Gives you the ability to build yourself and get your foot in the door. For someone who has experience and expectations-- this might not be the right source for you.

I worked with Kyle, who was extremely helpful. The staff is very committed to getting you a job and overall I had a great experience going through ROCS. They found me a position that has been a great experience and fits the industry I am pursuing. I highly recommend using ROCS to help you find a job.

I found ROCS through a banner-ad on a resume creation website. I submitted my application and forgot about it; roughly a month later I received a call asking me to come in for an interview. I met with Kyle, who did a great job interviewing me on a technical and social level, and within less than a week from that initial interview I was called in for another interview at a DC company and offered to start working the next day.

I personally had a great experience with ROCS, I like all the people I met there and my hiring process was shockingly fast after they met me. What I dislike about ROCS is that, at least in my experience, they can be unresponsive at times. What I mean by this is that I've been submitting time-sheets to them for two weeks and I haven't heard any kind of confirmation or indication that they're receiving anything from me. I've emailed them specific questions multiple different times only to receive unrelated responses (if they respond at all) that seemed directly copy/pasted from templates.

That being said, these issues have only been over online communications and I've had no trouble getting direct, clear responses when calling in. For job-seekers looking into ROCS for hiring: I'd recommend it, but know what you're getting into. Peggy is great. She worked to get to know me, my background, and what I'm looking for in a job. She placed me in a position incredibly fast and went above and beyond to advocate for me, streamline the process, and support me as far as my first few weeks. Job hunting is hard and it's been really nice to feel like there was someone on my side.

I am editing my review because I don't want to be accused of giving a fake review. I don't understand the good reviews and lack of bad ones, because I can't believe no one shares my experience. I was offered the chance to apply for a specific job after meeting with ROCS during an in-person interview, which followed a phone screening with a specific recruiter.

I took time off of my hourly job for both of these, and traveled to their location with plenty of time to spare in anticipation of any traffic so I would not be subjected to their "1 minute rule" as it was stated on the email sent to me. The advertised job that I initially applied for, and what I was offered was bait and switch. I did wind up applying after being told I would be a good fit, because I need a salaried job. However, It's been over a month since the process began and trying to get any response from ROCS has been like pulling teeth.

I have emailed multiple times and even called. Everyone there seems nice, yet they left me hanging and refuse to follow up. A simple "the job isn't available" or "we were told they might take more time to review applicants" would suffice. I have checked the website and the job I applied for is now gone, so clearly there must be some sort of update they can give me? Ignoring my emails is just plain rude and unprofessional.

Job hunting is stressful enough and these recruiters have proven themselves to me that they don't stand out from the other agencies that people often complain about doing the same exact thing. I don't know how this agency works, but I hate to think I lost money on time off of my hourly job and paying tolls to travel for this "interview" was only so a recruiter could get my contact info on record or meet some sort of quota. Actually, if that's so, that's completely messed up.

ROC is the best place to go right after college to find a job. They are AMAZING! I just finished college and needed to find a job, and it is hard. FINALY I stumbled in Rocs where the employed were extremely helpful and kind. I was helped by Kathleen. She helped look for a job, and every time there was an opening for something she will alway email me and call me to let me know.

Sometimes I lost hope in finding a job, but she will always give me that hope back everyone she called or emailed. Now I am waiting for a permanent position at an incredible job, but for the meantime the ROC has found me a temporary job. If you need that little hope I did in this crazy market the ROC IS THE BEST PLACE TO GO.

ROCS has been really great! I was nervous moving to a new state and finding a job right after college, with no real connections in the area. The process took awhile, but Kathleen was always asking for updates and keeping me in the loop. I could tell she was continuously working to finding me a good fitting job! I finally got a job working at a great company that I connected with right away.

Only downside would be I haven't really heard much from the company asking if I still like it at my current job, so I'm not quite sure what would happen if I didn't really like it. But overall, definitely a great staffing agency!

I went through ROCS about a year after graduation and Jessica was my recruiter. She helped me the whole way through the process and was extremely professional and knowledgable. She's always in communication with you and will call you if an opportunity arises. They set me up with a company within a few weeks for an interview and became FTE after 3 months. I have given Jessica a few referrals afterwards and have told many people about ROCS. I would recommend to anyone who is entry level to go through ROCS!
