Elite Personnel

5 Stars all around! Many thanks to Nicole and Patrick for their help along the way. I've used Elite Personnel twice. once after graduating undergrad and again last year when I was looking to get back into the workforce and both times have been a blessing. Straight out of undergrad, they were able to place me on a temporary assignment that lasted for about 2 months, and then when that ended, I was placed in a more long-term admin front office role.

When nothing else worked to put my degree to use, I could count on Elite to get placed somewhere, and luckily for me, they seem to have great connections all throughout the DMV so I didn't have to wait too long before I would hear back with a potential opportunity. If you're still in the search for a new temp agency, I definitely recommend Elite be your next (and last) stop;)

Disappointing. I started off with Elite Personnel in April of 2019. I had been out of work since December. After a long evaluation and short Skype interview with this Temp Agency, they started me off doing Data base entry with Wellness Corporate Solutions in Downtown Bethesda. The job was very tedious. Hours and hours of endless scanning and counting through hundreds of papers.

After 3 weeks I was suddenly let go from the job position without any notification. Elite Personnel just pulled me out of the the job saying "it wasn't good fit" for me anymore. In less than a week they started me off with another assignment in Cyrstal City VA working in Facilities Department. Job was great but only lasted for two weeks. I was filling in for someone going on vacation.

A staffer from AIR in Crystal City was leaving and were looking to fill the position temporarily. Elite Personnel offered me the job but at last minute they notified me saying that the job had been cancelled. Since then I have tried to call them several times and just get a response saying "We have not yet found a job that matches your skill set sorry for inconvenience." It has now almost been 5 months that I have been out of work and have not heard anything regarding job opportunities from the Elite Personnel Temp agency. Be careful working with them because eventually they will just leave you "High And Dry! Very disappointed.

I had a great experience finding temporary work with Elite Personnel. I moved to the DC Metro Area in late December from Hawaii and was desperate for a job to get my foot in the door. I stumbled upon Elite Personnel early January and they were able to get me a temporary position at a wellness company in Bethesda. I have to say that working for this wellness company was one of the best employments in my life.

Though it wasnt applicable to my professional goals/career, I geuninely enjoyed working there. I was assigned to that company for only a couple months but was asked to stay longer. I now work on Capitol Hill. Laura and Patrick are quick, nice people, and were very helpful with getting me my first job in the DC Metro. Thanks to them, I'm glad i was able to get such an experience.

People need to understand that temp agencies cannot guarantee you a job and there are lots of applicants. If you go through a temp agency, remember that patience is key! Thanks again, Elite!

If you are desperate for a job or have zero work experience, Elite is the place for you! On the other hand, if you have held any job for any length of time, then Elite is a joke! If you have a degree (or two) and 10 years+ work experience, they will hook you up with a demeaning $15 per hour job cleaning coffee pots and doing data entry. Don't bother asking for a livable wage, they will laugh at you!

I started out on January 1 as a widow, no degree, an employment gap of two years, but plenty of experience. Elite Personnel were the first agency to contact me in January and sign me up. They sent me to two jobs, and the second one hired me on February 8. Elite believed in me, they were efficient, kind and friendly, and they helped persuade my new employer to hire me directly (not temp to hire).

I have worked with many agencies in my career, but Elite were just wonderful. My new position was looking for someone specific, and I happened to fit that bill. Without Elite sending me to them for consideration, I would have never got my foot in the door. I am thrilled beyond belief. Thank youj.

One star because they appear to be friendly. Applied for a job through Craig's List for a "Program Assistant". Which now I know never existed or if it did it had long been filled. They put you through extensive on-line testing and more testing in office. Which I don't mind if it was being done for a real job. Then there was a Skype interview.

Nice lady on other end. She said they would be in touch. I'm not an amateur. I've been in the workplace for years and have extensive skills. Never heard a word from them again. Got the impression that they did not have a lot of clients. Waste of time.

Amazing. Elise recognized me as a good bet, even though other companies turned me down because I didn't have a degree. She was right, and recommended me to an amazing company. I feel absolutely blessed. If you want personal service, this is the place.

I strongly recommend Elite Personnel. They take the time to get to know you, what you're looking for, what you can contribute to a company, your values, what you liked about previous jobs, etc. I was interested in most of the leads that Elite offered me. Elite will advocate for you; just make sure you check in regularly. Most of the people in my department and company began with Elite. I cannot thank them enough.

It's really sad that in today's economic climate these staffing agencies continue to post fake jobs online in hopes to gain applicants, when they have no intention of even placing you on an assignment. Elite personnel are not the only ones who do this but since I interviewed with them, a long process that involved me even completing more paperwork and taking more tests after I arrived at their office.

I also had to take several online tests prior to interview(All of which scored high on, btw). I was told after the interview they would need to contact my references and would be in touch. Never heard back from them, I followed up with my references and all of them confirmed that this agency never even reached out to them. They were basically interviewing candidates for metrics purposes and to meet quotas.

A complete waste of my time. This agency and many others are notorious for this. Advertising opportunities that don't exist, only to tell you once you arrive that their client decided to move forward with another person or that you were not a good fit for the position. But hey what do they care, they have FT employment and on the payroll so it's not of their concern. I've worked with other agencies in the past and what I do know is if an agency is interested in a candidate they waste no time in having you complete tax documents, following up with references, and sending you on assignments.

I have had an awesome experience working with the staff at Elite Personnel. I was beginning to get discouraged in my job search efforts and started to think I would not find a place that was a good fit for me. Working with Elite Personnel was the best decision I'd made because they found a fit for me immediately, and constantly keep in touch with me to make sure my transition from one position to another was smooth.

They are a very encouraging group of people at Elite Personnel, and I encourage everyone who's looking for professional placement to contact them. It will be great decision for you too!

I was stuck in rut looking for a new job as a new college graduate. In my desperation I sent my resume over to this company, in response to a general ad that they had on Craigslist. I got called in for an interview, and was impressed with the office and the friendly staff. I was assured the interview went well and would be eligible for positions once my application was complete. (Reference checks etc) So after about two weeks of waiting I get an email stating that my application was complete.

After I recieved this email, I called once a week to let them know I was available. However, every time I called I was given some excuse. After about 3 weeks I asked what the next process is after I have completed my application, and I was left with the response "nothing, you pretty much wait for a position". Needless to say nearly 2 months later, I haven't heard anything from them and I've also given up. Typical staffing agency attempting to build their database.

After breaking my heel, it wasn't very practical to continue pursuing a nursing career (happened 2 months after I got my license). So.there was a time when I needed to start working.fast--I don't remember how, but I ended up at Elite. One day after the interview, they called me with a full time, 5 week, assignment. They placed me at a great company a few weeks after that assignment ended on a temp to hire contract.

I now work there with some really nice people (that's important to me). I was really surprised to read the review about the owner. I see her most times I go to pick up my weekly check-she always asked how things were going at the job, and was interested in my answers. (Maybe ownership has changed since the 2009 review? Only ever had one small pay problem (there was $1 difference in the rate one week-they responded quickly, and added it to the next week's pay check).While I was on the contract, I went to their office to pick up my check every week-it was always ready (for 3 months). I'm giving them four stars because I don't know much about temp companies-Elite has been the only I used.

I have worked with several temporary agencies in the Greater D.C. area since I finished graduate school and have found Elite to the best in terms of finding temporary positions in Maryland and the Greater D.C. area. They helped me find several temporary and a temporary-to-permanent assignment in the fields of human resources, administration, and marketing.

They are a great company with a wonderful staff and have the best follow up of any agency that I have worked through. They are highly recommended, especially for those individuals that are very early in their career and need work experience or for those individuals interested in trying out a new career path.

I worked for this temp agency for a year. I could probably count on one hand the number of days in that time that I went without work or an interview. They are responsive and accomodating. Whatever level of commitment and fervor you put into them, they will match in putting into finding work for you. I wouldn't have the job I have now if it weren't for Elite!
