Marla contacted me about an opportunity in my area. Like a lot of folks, I had been unemployed for a couple of months due to Covid-19 and was having very little luck searching on my own. I decline a job offer because the description showed first as a Manager then they down graded to a Supervisor position plus experience and salary wasn't what I was looking for. I let Jeannie knows, who was in charge of this position. She wasn't convinced of this and after looking for other opportunities and trying to reach out to her she did not answer my phone calls or emails anymore.
I called from other number and she answered right away, after that I call her from my cellphone and she did not. What is the purpose of this? If I don't like an opportunity what's wrong with decline the offer? Shows a lot when someone who work as a recruiter does not follow up with you. EDIT: You said Jeannie is busy, like we all are and I think the best she can do is to call me back after a 2 weeks trying to reach out to her by phone or email.
