Since 1994, Jodi has been responsible for providing strategic leadership and establishing long range goals, plans and policies for her local, small business, Aspen Personnel Service, Inc. I run a very busy small law firm and do not have the time or resources to manage the entire hiring process. Aspen helped us by filtering potential applicants so that we were only talking with those who were qualified for the open position. I had a very similar experience to someone else that left a review about Aspen for a completely different field of work. While the hiring manager I had a zoom screening with was polite and easy to talk to, I found them to be completely unprofessional. My girlfriend has been in the recruiting business for 3 years so I know a fair amount about what recruiting company's can and can't tell you.
I was screened for a job that I was plenty qualified for but probably didn't have enough experience in the particular sector. During the screening I was not told what company this job was for, or really ANY details about the company. How do you expect someone to show interest in the job you are trying to hire for if you won't even tell them any information about the company.
To top it off I had zero contact from anyone there after the zoom call I had, I would expect the courtesy of a quick email to just say "sorry with your experience level we don't think you would be a good fit for this position."

Aspen Personnel Service is a wonderful team to work with for employment after recently relocating to the Spokane area. I met Britt and interviewed with Jodi at the beginning of March. While there wasn't anything open in my area of experience, it was only a week and a half later before Jodi contacted me about a great job. I start tomorrow and I want to thank both Jodi and Britt for all of your help, negotiation, and friendly conversations.

Initially I went into Aspen Personnel in August of 2017, I was not seriously searching for a job at that time but was totally willing to put my name in their hat. I got a phone call from Jodi in January of 2018 asking me if I was interested in a position with a client company, I interviewed and was given an offer for that job. When that came about I had three job offers on the table and Jodi and her staff all talked to me about the pros and cons of each of the companies I had offers from.
In this case I took a different job than the one Aspen led me to. About 4 months after that I left the job, I reached out to Jodi again and apologized and asked for a second chance. She gave me a second chance. I reinterviewed with Jodi and she said to watch her website if anything jumped out at me. I emailed her a couple months later regarding a job posting and she set me up with an interview.

I have not applied for a job in quite a few months, but apparently this company can across my resume online and decided to contact me about a Teller position at a bank. First off, her phone line kept cutting out during the voicemail she had left me, which seemed really weird and unsettling to begin with. Figured I would wait a couple days before returning her call. Called her back today, and she had mentioned who she was with, why she had called, and how she came across my resume.
She processed to ask if I was interested in an open Teller position at a bank. I let her know that I'm really on the fence right now if I should go back to work as my husband and I are in a weird place right now, so it's a tough decision. She asked if I'm leary about it and if I would prefer full or part-time "because some people don't like working weekends and some banks are open weekends".
I repeated myself saying it's personal, so I'm unsure at the moment. She kindly let me know that I have her number and I then asked what bank it is out of curiosity. Her reply? "It's confidential." I'm sorry?! You're asking me if I am interested in working for a specific company and you won't even tell me who?! Nope. Super fishy. Apparently, they won't tell you unless you actually say you're interested in the position.
She got an ear full from me. While they might be a good company to help you find a job, I would like to know who I could potentially be working for, and what company it is so I can research them.

Prior to moving to Spokane I reached out to Aspen Personnel Service and submitted by resume - somewhat by mistake since I have not used a recruiter before (I've had two jobs in the last 31 years). I was pleasantly surprised when my mistake turned into a great position with a great company. Jodi's insights into the market, into the companies and types businesses Aspen supports, was extremely helpful and led me to focus on a position I otherwise had passed over several times in my job search. Jodi sensed where my strengths were, and was able to deconstruct the posted position to reach an understanding that I would be an excellent fit, and she was correct.

Aspen Personnel is a great company to work with. I found the employees at Aspen very professional and willing to help our company find our new hire. They took the guess work out of the resume process and were able to match personality traits as well as work experience, sending over applicants that they prescreened then selected as a great fit for the position I was looking for.

My experience with Aspen Personnel was excellent. I found the recruiters' service professional and perceptive. After my initial interview, I was connected with a local company within a short period of time. I ended up with a job offer and have been at my job for nearly a year.
