After a pretty brutal layoff, I turned to FLCC for assistance. To date, I have never heard from them. This was 8 months ago. I feel recruiters have tunnel vision, my background is quite versatile and I'm having a hard time understanding how I haven't heard a single thing from them after our initial meeting in April of this year. As a follow up to the response below: A review of my resume will show broad experience in departmental management.
I have done project management, risk management, safety management, and handled worker's compensation claims from incident through case closure. The company you referred to me said they had no such position available. While I have been employed, I would still hope that something more in tune with my experience would come along. I only received one follow up call from anyone at FLCC.
The only thing in this industry that I am incapable of fulfilling is the role of Superintendent. I stand by my one-star review for having the typical "tunnel-vision" mindset of most recruitment firms.

Florida Construction Connection was amazing. I reached out to them via linkedin and the same day we were on the phone discussing steps forward. Peggy scheduled a meeting with Suzanne the owner the following week at a time convenient to me. We discussed at length what i was looking for and why. They took the time to understand what I was about and then looked to find me an opportunity that i was fit for.
When an opportunity came up they advocated on my behalf to get an interview to accomodate my work schedule. Before the meeting they gave me background material and an interview prep session to help me perform well. Shortly after I received an amazing offer letter. I would recommend the team at Florida Construction Connection to any of my colleagues looking for a good opportunity.
