When Sy Kaye established Winston Resources in 1967, he had every intention of only serving a small niche - providing full-time professionals to the apparel and textile industry. Fate had other plans, though. Soon after founding the company, clients began asking Sy to find employees for office and accounting positions. They simply didn't want to have to work with another firm to fulfill all their staffing needs. With the mindset that the "customer is always right, " Sy began recruiting talent for full-time accounting and office/clerical positions, but he didn't stop there.

Winston staffing is a great recruitment agency. Fran Gellis was my recruiter and she was the best! She was very professional and personable. She knew exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed working closely with Tarsha Tew, she's one of Winston's greatest recruiters who is very patient and very diligent. The only reason I gave Winston three stars is due to the terrible placements that they offered me. The assignments had very unprofessional, unpleasant folks to work with. I just ask that Winston properly vet the employers looking to have temps come to work for them.

Winston Staffing has been an excellent source of temporary opportunities. I loved the variety of jobs offered. Cristina has been a great recruiter. She is super quick to respond when I have questions. The one complication I had was handled in a timely manner with a positive outcome. I started with Winston 2 months now and I must say Astride (recruiter) is very professional, diligent and on top of what my requirements are.we speak frequently and she asks how I'm doing and if everything is good. Working with Fran Gellis was a delight! Fran goes above and beyond to send multiple job listings that could be of interest to her clients. She works day and night to find the right jobs for each individual, all while making sure they are the perfect fit and that they will be happy. Fran takes the time to get to know her clients to really understand the job they are looking for and where there expertise lie.

I worked with Fran Gellis, and she got me a great job in the fashion industry for the salary that I wanted. I've worked at this job over 5 years, during that time I received a promotion and substantial salary increases. At one point, I had a second offer, but Fran was in the know and advised me which job would be best in the long run. And she was right!
