Company located in the Morgantown area is seeking a qualified candidate for welder on 1st shift. Company is seeking a full-time temp-to-hire employee to operate and take readings of furnaces, as well. We are currently accepting applications to fill a machine shop attendant position on 1st shift. It's rare to walk into a business and feel an immediate sense of community and reassurance. This place is something special - great staff, awesome work.

Tempstar Staffing's founder, James Sorber, opened an office in Reading, PA, primarily focusing on the Berks County area. Initially a Russoli Temps franchise, Jim opened 2 more locations in Ephrata and Lancaster over the next 10 years. In 1996, he changed his business's name to Tempstar Staffing, while christening a new branch in York, PA that same year.
Christine has been working for Tempstar Staffing for the last twenty years after serving for fourteen years in a supervisory role at a manufacturing company. Christine's long career with Tempstar began with an interview for a supervisory position for a different company affiliated with Tempstar. She made a distinct impression and was called back for a second interview within a few hours, and she was hired at Tempstar shortly after. She has worked as Tempstar Hanover's Branch Manager and became Tempstar Staffing's Risk Manager in early 2018.

The first time my brother went through this agency everything went fine. Mariah helped him and she was very good. This time around he spoke to her and a different woman named Destiny answered the phone and basically didnt help him even though days before the woman Mariah told him they had some offers but could not release any info because of 4th of july.
So he called the next day and the woman Destiny answered and gave a big sigh as if she didnt want to deal with him telling him that Mariah was on break but he called an hour before and she told him the same thing. She then asked my brother why does he keep asking for Mariah every time he calls. The simple answer is because she is the one who was handling his case and the one who said she had some stuff for him then Destiny tells him no we dont have nothing for you. Shes a liar and has no patience what so ever. Dont speak to her when you call because she cant do her job and you will get no where. smh she hates her job.

I came into the company optimistic, I was placed in a job at a tire company. It was called Americana Tire and Wheel. It was the most unsafe workplace I've ever been in. There was no ventilation in the warehouse, forklift drivers were scarily reckless, machine operators constantly put themselves in potentially deadly positions with the moving machines, and I got harassed and threatened by another employee.
When I reported this to tempstar they told me there was nothing they could do for me and they would not reassign me if I left this job. This agency does not care for it's employees, nor does it vet the businesses it hires out to. I would never recommend working for them.
