Please stop letting people show up to work sick. We're still dealing with Covid. Somebody can be more than just under the weather. DPI, gets a tax credit for every employee, for multiple health reasons. It's putting everyone, including your high risk employees, in a dangerous position. If I experience it again, I'm walking away.

This company and its management (especially my supervisor) ( Steven) have been the best company I have worked for my entire working career. I worked the security side for this company, and They give you the opportunity to grow, learn, and experience, all while having a home/ work life balance. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my time here, and if it wasn't for me moving out of state they would have had an employee for life. Thank you DPI for everything!

I went in for an interview and it was not like any interview I've ever been in. I walk in a room of 4 people and the trainer introduced me to the manager. I reach out to shake his hand and acknowledge him, but he continues to have a conversation with someone else and doesn't acknowledge me. He then turns to me and says I can sit. We talk and he asks me what I'm looking for and as I'm talking, other people were coming in and out of the room.
He then started a side conversation about some transient people spooning under some stairs, WHILE I was being interviewed. So the upon leaving and reading through the employee handbook, I notice they drug test for THC which living in Oregon it's legal. I had never been tested for THC at a job since I entered the work force myself at 18 except one and it was for street paving.
Upon explaining to the manager my reason for not showing up to orientation (which was not wanting to waste their time since I knew I wouldn't pass for THC), he told me my explanation of never being tested for THC was "horse shit". I then said excuse me and told him I didn't need that extra comment. I stated that I was calling as a professional courtesy and he said okay and then again commented and said "that's just a bunch of shit".
I definitely didn't appreciate the extra unnecessary comments and that point it made me not want to work for such a company anyway. The most unprofessional process in their part. Worst I've ever dealt with at any job and I don't ever write reviews. But this wasn't cool at all.

All of my placements with DePaul have been well explained. All pertinent details were thoroughly explained prior to any commitment on my part. Job developer Chris Meza is certainly an asset for DePaul, a real pleasure to work with. COMPLETELY bilingual whenever the need arose. He's a real go getter inside a laid back demeanor.
