In December of 1988, Victoria Cobos and Lois Imbach started an employment firm with a simple and unique philosophy: to provide Pacific Northwest businesses with top-notch human resource professionals. Why am I entitled to overtime? Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, contract employees are compensated on an hourly basis and as hourly employees are entitled to be paid time and a half for any hours over 40 worked in a one week period. What if I have worked an assignment through Cobos Group and later the client company calls me to come back in any capacity?
