I recently moved to Oregon and not knowing much about the area or the job market I applied with several different staffing agencies and I must say that CSR Personnel was the best, the ladies in the office were so nice! I met with Ashley who was professional and very sweet. She gave me some great tips regarding my resume and set me up for an interview for an Administrative Assistant role within the week. If you're looking for work call CSR Personnel right away.

I've experienced the ups and downs dealing with many temp agencies, but this one has been the first to actually get me a full time job with the position I was looking for. There has been times where they sent me to jobs along with 4 other people when the job only asked for 2 people, they will pay for they're mistakes. Minimum of 4hrs at whatever rate the job offered.
Another thing I really like about this particular temp agency is how easy to talk to the staff are. I am one of those people who ask the same question 10 different ways and they had an answer for each one. I recommend CSR for labor jobs and warehouse work.

I applied for a seasonal work at a department store-it stated to send a resume via email. I thought that was odd being that particular store has an online application. But I'm desperate- out of work bills piling up, winter, christmas, need to eat. A few days later I get a call from a hiring agency regarding the seasonal position that I had applied for.
They set my interview date. this is a good sign! I may have a chance for work! (it was better than waiting for the phone to ring) I dressed professionally, spent a good hour on hair and makeup, bought an all-day transit pass arrived for my interview with high hopes. I re-did my resume on their application form. So far this is not making sense. I applied for a job at a Tanasbourne department store, I'm now downtown Portland giving some temp agency my work history.
I get called in for "the interview". When I asked about the seasonal job, she casually said: "Oh, that was filled." Really? That was the reason I spent time, money and effort. And she offered no other work possibility. Talk about bait and switch. Apparently I should be grateful my resume is on file with them. Oh, and I'm still unemployed. I should at least get reimbursed the $5 for the Trimet pass. $5 when you're broke and not receiving a paycheck is a lot of money. Shame on them!

THIS is the review you need to read, people: I have had stellar experiences working with CSR Personnel over the past few years, working in a variety of settings and across industries (marketing to retail to office jobs and more). They are always professional, courteous, and give me the tools and information I need to succeed; specifically I work with Jessica, I have for the last almost 3 years and I am always happy with her work overall, especially her attention to detail and ability to place me according to fit and skill.
It is pretty simple here - do a good job, show up, follow simple directions, be a hard worker and boom! You get asked back to do assignments, get requested by past employers, and enjoy good relationships all around. As a staffing agency CSR Personnel WANTS to find people work, wants to help them to get into a job that, in many cases, can become a full time position.
It is to everyone's benefit that the right people are chosen for a job, and CSR has always worked hard to facilitate that kind of quality experience for me. I take responsibility for myself and my work, and CSR respects me for respecting myself. When I see a review on here that is so drastically different than the experiences I continue to have with this company, I cannot help but wonder if people are taking responsibility for themselves and their work ethics, or simply expecting the world to hand them everything they want, wrapped up with a bow.
You have to work smart and hard to get good work in this world, period. If you are a good worker, then CSR is the place for you to be and everyone there will help you succeed.

2 stars only because I was able to get a temporary position through them. Not surprising, though- they had 2 days to hire 15 people. The woman who was responsible for doing my "interview" looked and talked at me like I was some kind of disgusting trash. Read reviews of this place outside of Yelp, you'll hear the same complaint many times. Aside from that, she left me with very few details about the job and very snappily asked, "IS THAT ALL?" whenever I tried to get basic information like, "what is the pay rate?" Once on assignment, working graveyard shift, she called at 2:30pm (when us night workers sleep), left me a message just telling me to call her back, but not what it was about. Needless to say, I woke for the day after the office had closed.
I showed up to work that night and. there was nobody home. I had taken the last bus of the evening to get there and was now stuck in Beaverton until 5am. Simple common sense could have saved me some frustration and simple courtesy shouldn't be so hard to come by at a business that depends on us workers for their own income.
