I have hired three candidates over the years from Paragon. I worked with Beth, who is okay to deal with. But towards the end I was working with Jen, who simply is not nice---very bossy and arrogant. The last candidate came with a 6 month placement guarantee; when he quit after 5 months I asked about the guarantee, and Beth was very snippy and told me they would honor the commitment, but they had no candidates to show me.

In other words, they were using their candidates for openings where they would get more $$$---replacing someone at my site would not bring them fresh revenue. She also implied that since the guy quit after 5 months, they shouldn't have to keep the 6 month commitment, "after all, he almost made it 6 months". I am not doing business with Paragon anymore.
