I have worked for this company for almost 4 years now. I have a tight knit team that is always willing to step in to help out each other when needed. I have always enjoyed working with the people served and really feel great making a difference in people's lives. I have enjoyed the opportunities given to me to step outside of my comfort zone to grow my leadership skills on committees and through different development trainings. It is a great place to work. I feel like Opportunity Partner's really cares for their employees.

I have aspired to work in a field where I am helping and serving people. It is because of this aspiration that I perused a career in psychology. When I left college, I was searching for a job that would give me hands on skills with people and this job came across my vision. I had originally planned to apply and leave the company within a year, I wanted to continue my studies in psychology.
But something kept me around. This company is the first job I have had where my managers treat me like a person and not a number. They have caring hearts and strive to make me feel validated and important. On top of having a wonderful management staff, I also love coming into work everyday. My job gives me real experience with working with people and helping them improve their lives.
It is so rewarding to see someone get involved in their program and set up their own personal goals. The people I work with learn and grow and become the optimal versions of themselves, it is truly inspiring. Though there are downfalls to any paying job, this particular one has made a significant impact on my life values and has set a precedent for other non-profit companies that support people with disabilities. I love my job and am proud to tell everyone about the amazing opportunity to be a part of it!

Good place to work if you have/are a disability; for example, blind, autistic, slow learner, or other disability. Pay is lower than minimum wage but if you can only work for a little while or want a little spending money, it is good. They do assist with learning skills and living quarters. Some days you might not have work.
