First off Renee left me a voice message where she lied and said I applied to her company when actually they found my resume on a job board. When I directly asked her she tried to dance around it then said someone sourced it. I asked her to email the details, but she said she couldn't and keep talking over me while chewing gum. Rambling about this job that was for high-volume recruiting.
She didn't try to establish trust, rapport or make any type of real connection just rambling off information. She had no clue where I lived in association to the job's location or even the cities nearby. It's obviously she hadn't even read my resume up until that moment or conducted enough market research. This type of individual gives recruiting a bad name by being pushing, unprofessional, outright lying, and so callous in their approach that good recruiters who care about making the right networking connections have to overcome more. Lose my number, don't ever call me again.
