Area Temps

I was looking for employment closer to my new home after moving. Got in contact with Bianca at Area Temps and started the process. Needless to say, after a couple of weeks i am at my new job and with the salary i wanted. Thanks for all your help Area temps and Bianca

Alison at area Temps was awesome. I'm retired and did not want to go back to full-time. And she found a great Company to work for. The company is awesome because I only wanted to work 4 days a week. Thank you Alison and Area Temps.

I registered with Area Temps about a month ago. The position I applied for initially did not work out, but Bianca helped me to revamp my resume for a different position. I interviewed almost immediately, and started the next week. I found an amazing position with an amazing organization! I'm now three weeks into the position, jumped in with both feet, and will be moving from temp status to full time permanent within a few weeks.

Great experience and amazingly knowledgeable staff. I can't thank Bianca enough for this opportunity for a position I don't think I would have considered otherwise. Thank you so much!

I got a lot of help from this area temps location (independence) when I needed it. They are always professional and prompt. I worked with Bianca and she was always great with placing me in jobs that fit my work experience and where I preferred to be. Thank you Bianca I have a permanent position now!

Bianca from area temps was awesome. She helped set me up with a job I absolutely love and have now been permanently working for for 2 months with plans on staying indefinitely. Whoever the boss is needs to give her a raise immediately. Thank you guys and stay safe!

I worked for Area Temps for about 4 years placing people. I would recommend if you can go to any other agency, go there. There was constantly job openings on the site that weren't actually available but the company told me to "sell the idea" in case we had openings. This left many people feeling like they wasted 1-2h in our office, and rightfully so.

When I left I got a written exit interview where I outlined the mistreatment that happened relentlessly and that was never addressed, and I was never contacted though I asked them to reach out for further detail. They don't have an HR department where you feel safe to go to about the horrendous things that happen. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this company. Steer clear. All of the bad reviews are an accurate representation of what Area Temps embodies and has no desire to fix.

Critical: Professionalism These women are very rude for no reason. They come off nice over the phone but if you say something. They disagree with they go back and fourth. Not reccommed to anyone trying to seek employment. Their's way better temp agencies you can register with for employment.

Bianca is the best! She listened to me and definitely found exactly what I was looking for, she placed me at an awsome company where I was hired quickly. I would recommend any and all persons seeking employment to call her at the Independence office!

Bianca at Area Temps Independence is Fantastic! She is knowledgeable, truthful and has an infectious positive attitude. She gave me confidence to attain a great job by giving me enough information to make the decision. I was not pressured. And she continues to communicate whenever I need help. She really cares!

My experience with Jazmine at the Independence Office was excellent. She gave me really good advice and ideas on how to find the perfect job for me and also, her beautiful personality came through over the telephone. I asked a lot of questions and she was very patient and kind with me.

Terrible place to work for. They start unnecessary bs with you. I worked for this company and they treated me poorly and did a lot of things that went against my rights. Very unprofessional and rude.

My experience with Bianca at this agency has been 100 percent positive She has always been extremely responsive and goes beyond the call of duty to find employment that fits my needs. I've worked with many other agencies and none have compared to the service I get from her. I'd give her 10 stars if I could

They sent me on a job where the trainer was creepy & weird (constantly staring/looking me up & down, asking about my personal life). I was also given incorrect information about the job itself. I showed up for two longggg shifts & it was absolutely horrible. I called them on day three & informed them I would not be continuing with the job. They then took it upon themselves to call my emergency contact & all my former employees to bad mouth me.

Talk about unprofessional & STALKER-ISH. I do not recommend anyone use this staffing agency. I have requested a grievance form from another Area Temps location. They stated they receive many complaints regarding the Independence location & encouraged me to file the paperwork.

They tell you to make sure to call and check in for jobs and when i do the lady says the total opposite that she would call me instead when she made it perfectly clear to "check in" was part of their explicit protocol. If I'm not fit for this type of thing then just say so and don't waste my time. These type of places are bogus anyway which is why I never go to them.

They seem nice and say they can work with your traveling issues, schedule, rates etc. like it's legit but you end up receiving no response at all. However, my experience here was about a few years ago but still relevant to post this. Anyways, I make my money on my own now and these type of places are not worth your time and energy.

I received a call from Amanda M. from the Lakewood office. Her voice mail indicated my resume posted online was a good fit for a position they had and would like to speak with me. She followed up with an email stating "I had the pleasure of reviewing the resume you submitted regarding the position and would like to schedule you for an interview". Note, I did not apply for a position.

When I called to further discuss, she asked if I was actively seeking a new position and would like to schedule me to come in for an interview. If this is how Area Temps trains their new employees on how to get potential candidates to come into their office, they may want to rethink their strategy. Bad experience the first time with no positive outcome! After this, I definitely won't use Area Temps!

Just a psa for everyone trying to earn a honest living for themselves i would stay clear of these liars. they do not protect their employees (because you are their employee until hired in by the company your submitted to) they claim they give second chances to felons buts thats also a lie. if you want to actually have a chance at getting a decent pay and having a long term job stay clear of any of their locations! you've been warned!

My girlfriend went to Area Temps with the hope of finding a job with the help of Area Temps' staff. She went through the initial sign up process and testing in order to get into their system. It took a couple hours to complete and then she spoke with a job recruiter, Nisa C. She interviewed her and talked about the jobs she had previously applied for online through their site.

They also talked about the type of job my girlfriend was looking for and even sent her application to one of the companies because she met the requirements they were looking for. Nisa told my girlfriend that she would get back to her once she hears back from the employer. My girlfriend contacted Nisa multiple times in the following weeks for a follow up on the application. Nisa neither called nor emailed her back.

As a recruiter, she should at least have the decency to call or email back when contacted or to say that the employer did not accept the application. Especially when contacted multiple times regarding the issue. This comes off as extremely unprofessional. Would not recommend Area Temps when searching for a job. Extremely disappointed in customer service, and would not recommend to family or friends.
