Huntington Beach Staffing

I'm not too happy with HB staffing. I've worked with them in the past, but unfortunately there were some assignments they wanted to throw me on, but only for a week which wasn't even worth the gas money. I'm very disappointed, that I have called several times 98 times to see was any work available, never got a response or call back. It's honestly upsetting, that there is people like myself who want to work, but get the shit end of the stick.

I'm very impressed with HB Staffing. I had my concerns after reading Yelp reviews about them, but the Huntington Beach location's team proved me wrong. The hiring/placement process has been smooth and exceptionally positive from the beginning. There's always someone answering the phone. When I need to speak to my recruiter Heather, their team relays the message and I get a call back within an hour. I'm on my 1st assignment with them.

If all of their offices operate as kindly and efficiently as this one, I highly recommend them. Again, Heather, thanks for a smooth, positive experience. Your professionalism and responsiveness are very impressive - and appreciated!

I can't say enough about HB staffing, they are awesome! Megan has helped me soo much and is just a good person who really cares about people. I've been really appreciative for all the staff including Lisa who is great. Don't hesitate to reach out to them.

I'm not thrilled to leave Yelp review, especially because I had such high hopes. Lisa & I ran into a small little disagreement but after I reached out and apologized. She agreed to help me for employment once again, but she kept silent. I've emailed her, but no response. I hope she is in all good, I believe she must be bothered at the fact that I told her that my last score of my assessment was my best.

She might not think I'm taking this seriously. Right now, especially during these times, their is so many people looking for a job. I have all qualifications for what I'm looking for. It's just so upsetting that this is literally their job, and they aren't putting in 100%. It's ok though, just please anyone who thinks they've got a shot here for employment, don't even bother wasting your time. There's an Apple one in Huntington Beach. Your better off with them. Promise.

This place seems like a scam. It seems like they have a very large pool of candidates that they just keep on file but don't contact. I get emails from them, but nothing is personalized at all. It's been months since initial meeting with the recruiter, but I haven't gotten any communication or feedback, yet I keep getting spammed with emails about job positions.

So first off let me start with where I was assigned to was extremely great my problem came when I received a notification that I was exposed to covid about 14 days ago so I did what everybody would do go take a test I came back negative so here's where my problem really comes I was still placed on quarantine after it had already been 14 days and I came back negative by my recruiter and when I said what am I supposed to do as far as income the answer was I don't know what to tell you go ahead and apply for assistant go to Food Bank whatever you need to do there's a lot of LA County assistance contact them I just can't allow you to go to work mind you she was very rude so I did send an email later on that day I received an apology call about her rudeness and I got let go from my assignment and was told that they were just going to replace me I never had symptoms I never got sick here we are 15 days later still negative

I have gotten the courage to speak about the racism in this company. And it won't just be on Yelp! It'll be everywhere. First hand the things I would hear from working here.

I first started my journey with HB Staffing working alongside Erin Garcia (a recruiter) and I loved her. Always professional, quick in response and alert of everyone's requests. I applied although at the time I had a retail job as a manager that was not fulfilling in hours and lacked in support. Erin remained patient and checked on me periodically for about two months until I eventually made my decision to give HB Staffing a chance.

Once I began the on boarding process, she remained on top of things allowing a smooth transition into my first assignment. Today, I am working with Paige McAllister and it is safe to say that she been all around impressive and amazing. Without expectation she has impressed as much as the previous recruiter. She managed to set up a new assignment immediately after only receiving a one week notice from my current supervisor. I thank HB thus far as the opportunities they have provided me have already been of great benefit to myself and the future of my career.

Don't bother! This agency plays favorites, unless you are on their good side, you don't exist. I have applied for jobs that I am totally qualified for and they don't respond to you, direct emails -no response and when you finally get a hold of them they say position is already filled and yet there it remains on there website which according to them has been updated. When I worked with them years ago, they were wonderful, now that they have new recruiters, Susanne, not so much! Very unprofessional!

I love working for HB staffing! I've been here for a year and they are very help whenever I need anything, my contract is always renewed on time so I never have to worry about not having an assignment.

This place continues to be a home to HB. After a few years away from looking for new employment, it was time to refresh my resume. I decided to give then one last shot, and man, they haven't changed one bit! Perhaps new staffing, but still same old rude recruiters. I was contact by Marissa, or shall I say "I was hoping to speak to Marissa" but never got there.

Then I get an email saying, "when we find something that matches your skills we'll call you". This is non sense! If you don't land on these recruiters good side, you'll be black listed. Don't waste your time with this staffing agency, your better off finding your own jobs and better ones as well. These staffing agencies aren't always honest with regards to job descriptions, etc.stay away!

Very pleased with HB Staffing for promptly placing me in my current accounting position seven months ago. It didn't take them long to find the right fit for me. I highly recommend them for contract and permanent employment opportunities.

If I could give this a negative star, I would. HB staffing is the most unprofessional agency I've been through. They mislead job opportunities. I was told I was going to be an "office assistant" and to dress "business casual". Turns out it was a WAREHOUSE job, where no "business casual" attire is required. Secondly, they completely stopped sending me assignments due to miscommunication on THEIR end. Susanne tried to inform me that I never "corresponded to her email" therefore they can no longer place me into a suitable position.

When I tried to fwd the email PROOF that I did in fact correspond with her. Her response "best of luck" DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JOKE OF A STAFFING AGENCY! Select staffing & helpmates staffing services are more professional & reliable. Go check em out & ditch this place

I am really glad I found HB Staffing! I was given my first assignment really quick and have stayed there for six months now. I like my assignment and when I need to communicate with HB they are quick to respond. Every staff I have spoken to have been very friendly and professional. I highly recommend them if you are in search of a temp agency. I had gone with another temp agency only to promise me a job but never delivered and would not respond when I contacted them. That is not the case with HB staffing. I have been really happy with my placement and continuous assignments.

Ever since I started working with HB staffing I have been with the same department they assigned me to. Supper friendly, professional, and a great group of people to work with. HB Staffing staff are the best! always assist you in a timely manner and always follow up on any issue.

I highly recommend HP Staffing to any professionals looking to find a gainful employment with a friendly and responsible company. When I first called, they were very polite in explaining where I could send my information. Just a day after sending in my cover letter and resume, Megan got back to me to schedule an interview with Cristina. They sent me a reminder via email and called the day before to confirm. Cristina was very friendly and thorough in her explanation of their hiring process, the types of employment they offer, and who they were looking for.

She was very helpful and receptive to my questions. Right away, I was sure that they would be able to find me the right place. The next day, they scheduled me for an interview for an assignment Christina had mentioned before. Again, they provided excellent assistance, following up with emails, helpful pointers, and confirmations. It went very well and I was hired!

The HB Staffing team is the most responsive agency I've worked with. When inquiring about an assignment that was available, the staff answered my questions and assisted me in getting placed. Throughout the application, interview and placement process, the team treated me with kindness and continue to support me now that I'm on assignment. I recommend their services to HB residents who may be considering signing up with a temp agency.

Terrible terrible terrible. I think I been calling this place for 5 years off and on and they get new people but there always equal at shoveling bullsh** your way. You'll see an ad on craigslist for a bunch of work than you'll call and they'll tell you they got work until you sign up than you'll be waiting five years like me. Don't fall for this stupid trick.

Job agencies that are desperate sign up 1000 people and only employee 50 of them. This place I would give it negative stars if I could. Also do not go to people to people they are about the same as hbstaffing.

As a recent graduate, often times it's hard to get your foot in the door. Thus working with agencies such as HB Staffing has definitely been a great aid in gaining insight and valuable experience into non-profit, public and government employment. The process was far more efficient than that of other agencies I have worked with. A week after I began utilizing HB, I was called by a recruiter to get a feel for what type of experience I was looking for in the long run and my interests.

Not very long after, I was given options for various local government positions. The staff and recruiters were more than accommodating and resourceful in ensuring your placement was well and everything was good to go. I would definitely recommend using HB staffing for employment! HB Staffing is the best temp agency I have known. Through their client (the County of San Diego's EMS), they have offered me the best working conditions I have been looking for in San Diego, a much better pay than the ones I had with a temp agency before, and a very nice environment to work at. I am with Ali. HB staffing has been nothing but wonderful in terms of getting me a good temp to hire position which I got hired on permanent. Chantel is a fantastic recruiter who keeps in touch and found me what has been a perfect fit more skill set. She was on the lookout for me and I so appreciate it. Once on-board, Andrew was a great contact who answered all sorts of a questions in a fast informative manner.

He knows his stuff and will make sure you have all the info to succeed. I will continue communication with him as a resource, he's that good. I have been on both sides of the table with staffing agencies and I found most lacking but not HB. They are thoughtful, professional and, most of all, there to help you. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews for HB Staffing! It is baffling! Although those who are reviewing negatively CLEARLY lack tact, which may be a clear indication as to why you were not a viable candidate for any positions HB Staffing was hiring for. -Yeah, I said it! Anyways, FIVE, BIG, RED, SHINY STARS because my experience has been nothing short of AMAZING! First off, when I first started utilizing HB Staffing, I was currently employed. I had a decent job, but I was not happy! AT ALL. I was ready for change, something new, and something exciting.

My professionalism, and diverse administrative background landed me a handful of interviews through HB Staffing, and eventually a full time job. WHICH I LOVE! Throughout the entire process, (over the course of a month), I received service excellence from the recruiters Lauren, and Aly, at HB Staffing. I did not have a ton of paperwork to fill out nor did I jump through hoops to be assigned a job.

To be honest, the "hiring process" was quite simple! It included a "face-to-face" interview with the recruiters from HB Staffing, and a few online tests to evaluate my skills and knowledge of modern office procedures and Microsoft Office. After I accepted a position, I did the normal paperwork for employment which included forms regarding; direct deposit, I9 (citizenship), and tax information. I cannot stress enough, what a breeze this experience has been. HB STAFFING ROCKS!
