Very understanding and great staff! They have been more than helpful helping my spouse not only get a great job but helping him through a very traumatic time in life. I want to thank all the staff at united personal for allowing him to keep his job through these difficult times and understanding the grieving process and not giving up on him! Thank you from his spouse and all his family!

I worked for united personnel back in 2015 got laid off and was asked to work again and I couldn't Make it back to work I didn't have any form of communications to contact them nor a ride there and they used that as a punishment towards me ever since and wasn't able to find me any type of work I guess people aren't allowed to make any mistakes.

The woman who helped me was perfectly nice, the interview itself for the position I applied for was a good experience, but after I left, I was asked to send a list of references to my interviewer, which I did and I was told I would be contacted once a decision had been made about the position. Also, they said that they would be asking their colleague about a position that might better match my skill set, cool, I thought.
Shortly after my interview, the next week they re-posted the job on all of the job boards, leaving me with a sour taste in my mouth. I honestly thought it was pretty unprofessional of them. I haven't been contacted once, left in the dark, and all I feel like is that they used this position to lure me into their office to get into their candidate pool. I won't be applying to any position through United Personnel any time soon.

While this particular job seeking company actually gave me a chance to transition from retail to a more professional situation, it really left a lot to be desired. For example, the follow up is terrible and you keep having to hound them and remind them of requests that were made both verbally and in writing. The communication is also not that great, and they sometimes don't tell you if you've gotten an offer officially; it seems more like an afterthought to them.
They don't teach you how to use the timekeeping system and also any mistake when using it is very hard to correct. The people that I encountered were on the verge of being unprofessional and the case manager that I had was rather rude and very ditzy, she acted more like a teenager than a professional helping someone try to find a job. Although I did finally managed to get a permanent position due to the fact that I had a temp position at the company, the fact that I had to babysit my case manager made it extra stressful since I had to keep hounding her on every little thing.
I would probably recommend this company but was fair warning that if you're a highly organized person you might want to pull your hair out by the time you're done dealing with them.

I don't agree with Gypsy's post. I contacted UP after seeing a posting online. I got a call the very next day. The interview went smoothly, I was tested and then scheduled to meet with their client. I got the job and after three months I was officially hired. While I waited in UP's office, I saw people come in and out of the office in jeans, in tshirts, and flip flops so dont be surprised if you get a low paying job when you dress like this to an interview. You sell yourself and you will get the job.
