Critical: Professionalism I worked with Alessandra Manrique back in 2018 for a supplemental position with Transcore. Just something to do for extra traveling funds. She was very short and rude in conversation. Just had a attitude for no reason The project itself is ridiculous. The work environment with Transcore is blah!

Haggle you about a zoom meeting for what so you can critique me see what my race is I don't care for staffing agency's always under cut salaries and try to make you take entry level positions and rude as hell. Calling people and acting as if your doing them a favor over a year and still no positions

So my review is a two part review because I was reached out to by Resource twice. Once in December and recently this month by Avery. In December the individual contacted me through Linkedin about an opportunity she saw fit for my experience. I responded shortly after expressing interest and would want to hear more about the opportunity. She doesn't respond.
I gave it a few more days and followed up with another message stating I'm interested if the opportunity is still available. Again no response. You would figure the professional thing to do would be to respond with something, even if it's a "Sorry, this opportunity is no longer available" especially when you are the one that initiated the communication.
So I just brushed it off as an "oh well". Come March, I was reached out again by Resource this time by Avery Avila. I was hesitant to respond with the bad experience prior, but I had nothing to lose. So I responded that I was interested in learning more about the opportunity. Then I went to google Resource just to get a feel for what others might have thought of them.
Not to my surprise there were a lot of other people who experienced the same level of service. So I wasn't having high hopes. Avery surprised me. In a pleasant way. She responded fairly quickly and scheduled a zoom interview with me. She was on time, was thorough with the opportunity, and did not hesitate to present me to their client. I explained my current situation and what I was willing to consider and not wanting to consider temp to perm etc.
Didn't bother her one bit, she presented me to the client exactly how I wanted to be. I immediately landed an interview with their client, and every step of the way Avery has been informative and responsive. I would say she saved my impression of Resource Staffing. If this opportunity doesn't work out, I would still definitely want to continue working with Avery.

In my search for employment I have spoken with dozens of recruiters, for them to not respond and not actively assist in a job search. Arielle Hill reached out to me and has been absolutely wonderful! She has assisted me in finding the right fit, interview prep, and easing the stress that comes with looking for employment. Her professionalism, communication, and willingness to guide me in finding career placement has been second to none. Arielle has been friendly, understanding, and interested in finding a position that will elevate my career. Arielle has been an absolute delight to work with!

I got a call from Gracie and she wanted to schedule a zoom call. I agreed set a time and a date and then she couldn't be bothered to show up for it. Then I got an email saying she was waiting for me after nearly ten minutes. I told her zoom kept saying the meeting needed to be started and she made up some poor excuse. Wouldn't work with her again.

I have been searching for a job for about a year now and have dealt with many different recruiters who have all told me they would help me find a job, only to have them give up on me shortly after. So, when Arielle Hill from Resource Staffing in Houston contacted me to offer her help finding me a job, I was very skeptical. I had been through this too many times before where the recruiter helps me for about a week and then I never hear back from them again.
But this was NOT the case with Ari! She kept in constant contact with me and worked tirelessly to help me find a job that would work for me! SHE PUTS HER HEART AND SOUL INTO WHAT SHE DOES! She GENUINELY cares about her clients and wants to see them succeed! She makes you a priority and keeps in constant contact with you, which was something that really stood out to me.
Thanks to Ari, I have finally found a job! If you feel like you are endlessly applying for jobs to no avail, YOU NEED TO CONTACT ARI AT RESOURCE STAFFING! SHE WILL HELP YOU! She really made me feel comfortable and confident in myself and my abilities. This is more than a job to her, and that's what sets her apart from other recruiters! If I ever need a job in the future, I will DEFINITELY be contacting Ari for help.

Kaitlyn and Teodora are very unprofessional and rude. The agency didn't provide my start date untill I made multiple inquiries and then didn't send my starting instructions until after 1700, the evening before my start date. They also sent me to the wrong building, didn't provide the info of whom I was to report to, nothing about the dress code or any information pertaining to the company atmosphere. They do not deserve even a one star rating.

I applied for multiple job openings with this agency though I know they have thousands of applicants a day. I was working with Avery Avila, or supposed to be working with her and for an entire week I didn't get a response. I called the office and was given the excuse that they're working on a huge project causing delayed responses. I trusted this agency for over two weeks in hopes of moving forward with my application. I will no longer use resource staffing and don't recommend them at all.

Everything was ok I'm the beginning but after that first assignment with Transcore it went down hill. They say they will help yu find something else but don't. Lily Lugo lives to lie she told me 3 different assignments I asked abt magically filled but never to the job down like I was told they would. It's still there in too of saying I cursed at her .
They don't really care about your well-being they just want to make money. The contact they have with Transcore varies. 1 group might get paid $12 an hour and the following week the group after yu will get $1. There is no special project everyone does the same thing and some are getting paid more than others. Their tryna-over rate is ridiculous and they don't care. If yu really really need a job then this is the place to look but make this a last resort and DEFINITELY be looking for something else

I initially applied for a position Resource had available back in 2020. I needed a job and decided to apply for something well below my desired pay. The Agency was really responsive to that particular position and I almost accepted the role, but it was a long term assignment and I just couldn't accept the pay rate for a long period of time. I noticed they did advertise positions closer to my professional background and yet I was never considered.
I didn't take it personal. That's the nature of the industry. They select who they believe the Client will hire. Regardless, if 'you know' you can do the job. Recently, I applied for a Role they had advertised and was contacted by Ari about a different position. I have to say, from the first phone call I felt like she was going to at least present me in a way that made them want to meet me.
She was transparent about the interview process, which I appreciated and was very communicative, which is also appreciated when you are actively trying to find work. Luckily, the Client decided to meet with me and the rest was in my hands. Fortunately, it seems for now, it worked out. Dealing with Staffing Agencies can make you feel anxious, frustrated (I've dealt with a lot of them), but I want to take this time to thank Arielle Hill for her confidence in me, her transparency, and also for keeping me filled in along the way. I felt like I was in a Partnership and not just another resume. I appreciate that!

A lot of these posts are attacking the staffing agency for lack of compassion, but fail to realize they are hiring for the businesses who are hiring. Those businesses are paying RS to send candidates who are the BEST fit for the job. You cannot fault the agency simply because you're hurt you were not chosen. The recruiter will continue presenting you for roles if you're professional and fit the job description. Remember how you present yourself goes a long way!

Wasted my time with this Staffing agency, went in for an interview for a position about a month ago, my recruiter informed that if I wanted to begin working the following Monday several steps were needed to be complete in a timely matter (interview, exam, on-site visit, & drug test) once I arrive onsite I am informed of a waiting list and that I'll be the next class in a about a month later still nothing.
Also my recruiter has made very little (if any effort) to keep me updated on the status of the position and does not respond to emails in a timely matter. Honestly I would look somewhere else for work if you are needing to work soon they don't seem to respect the time and life's of the people they employ.

I have never applied or gone through a staffing agency when seeking employment, but decided to try it this time. I must say it has been a GREAT experience! Jade Alonso has been such an awesome recruiter. She has kept in constant contact with me and followed up anytime she said she would. She also found jobs that fit my background, experience and requested salary. I'm so glad I found them online and took the time to apply!
