Working with the Larko group has been one of the most positive experiences I've had in Chicago. Moving here without a plan and switching careers proved to be more difficult than I imagined and I truly couldn't have done it without Megan. Not only was she incredibly communicative, but also very supportive and positive! I cannot say enough great things about this team. I worked with Brianna Forth but also interacted with other team members at Larko on interview prep. Bri is incredibly well organized, articulate, and wastes no time getting results! At the same time, she was so respectful of the vacation I had planned while still making sure things moved forward. My experience with The Larko Group was absolutely wonderful and I can't speak their praises enough. I have worked with many recruiters through multiple job searches, and The Larko Group was hands down the best experience I've ever had. My recruiter, Julie Monti, was exceptional. She was in communication with me daily and constantly keeping me updated.

I never felt forgot about like I have with some recruiters. She was there to answer any question I had at any time of day and she gave me a ton of valuable advice in training and interview practice. What I appreciated most was that she was extremely honest in directing me toward what job/career would be the best fit for me, instead of pressuring me to just accept any job.

I cannot recommend The Larko Group enough. I worked closely with Emily Cullen and she was a continuous help. I was going through Tax season at the time so I really couldn't do a lot of looking/interviews but she was always very patient and only reached out when she really thought a job would be a good fit. I never felt pressured to interview for a job I was not interested in and she kept tweaking my preferences based on how I was feeling.

I can't thank The Larko Group enough. Long story short, I moved to Chicago without having a job lined up, after months of searching while living in another state wasn't working. Thanks to Amy, I found something pretty quickly, and I really enjoy the people at my new job. She assisted me so much in finding a job that would be a good fit for me. She checked in on me every so often, and always responded to emails promptly. Eva also answered any questions I had, and was in general very helpful. After a month and a half of working in a temporary role, I got offered to go full time! They're both great, and I couldn't have found this opportunity without them.

I can't say enough wonderful things about The Larko Group! I had been in my job for nearly ten years and was nervous about making a switch, though desired it deep down. It didn't seem like she was trying to accomplish a goal of placing me somewhere - she knew what a huge leap this was for me and she was eager to make sure I didn't settle and was presented with all of the possibilities out there. She was also a wonderful cheerleader I never knew I needed! So encouraging going into interviews, a true mentor in our debriefs after each interview, and always there to answer questions or encourage me in between.

She is so personable and kind, I already miss working with her! Not only was Amy a pleasure to work with, but so were all of the others I interacted with at The Larko Group - Russ and Megan were so kind and helpful during our prep calls and always made me feel at ease headed into the actual interview. Having been out of the "interviewing" field for a long while, this made such an impact at easing my nerves and ensuring I could truly "be myself" during the interview - which I realize is most definitely key. I'm sad that my work with The Larko Group has come to a close (after signing a wonderful offer for a new job!) because it was such a joy to work with them. I'll definitely be recommending their services; especially to those like me who are looking to make a jump but truly have no clue where to start. When I moved to Chicago last summer, I applied with The Larko Group to work as a temp in order to get to know the city. I wound up staying at the same assignment for a few months as I got to know Chicago. I had a great experience working with everyone at The Larko Group. I'd worked with one other recruiting agency in the past and didn't have the best experience, so I wasn't sure how to feel about recruiting agencies as a whole, but TLG massively changed my mind. Where do I begin? I cannot say enough good things about my experience with The Larko Group! I relocated from NYC to Chicago without a job lined up. The Larko Group (Abbey Maloney) reached out to me via LinkedIn. We held a FaceTime meeting before I officially moved and she had interviews lined up for me before I even packed the U-Haul. If you are in office administration in the Chicago area you HAVE to reach out to them.

I worked mostly with Abbey, but my interactions with other consultants and Russ Larko were delightful. Abbey made sure to always keep me informed and kept the ball rolling even when I was being very selective. She truly listened to my needs and sent me on interviews to some of the most prestigious companies in Chicago. You will not believe some of the incredible connections they have. The Larko Group has been sending me on temp assignments ever since I moved to Chicago three years ago. I work in theater and jump back and forth between equity and non-equity shows so my availability is always changing. Whenever I have daytime availability, I use temp work to cover expenses. Larko Group has sent me consistent work whenever I've needed it.

They always respect my schedule and the fact that I'm not interested in temp-to-hire. The whole team communicates quickly, and they always take my needs into account whenever they send me on assignments. I signed up with two other temp agencies when I moved to the city, but neither agency ever sent me an assignment that looked appealing. The Larko Group also creates greate incentives for its temporary workers. I've been made temp of the month, which I believe came with a bonus, I won a designer handbag in a drawing last spring, and I've received a number of bonuses for recruiting new people.

I don't make a point of recruiting workers - I'm just always happy to recommend The Larko Group whenever an actor or designer is complaining about their day job and feels ready to look for another option. I work mainly with Laura, and she is incredibly kind and dilligent. I'm less familiar with the rest of the team, but they are always responsive and helpful. Five stars to The Larko Group - a great place for people in the theater industry.

The Larko Group is an amazing employment agency. They reached out to me for a position they were looking to fill late last year. I was brought in to their office to meet privately with Jennifer who was amazing. She is really upbeat and definitely felt like she was in my corner to successfully land this role. After our meeting, I met the entire staff and owner.

Shortly after I began the process of interviewing. Jennifer was always reachable and helpful. She coached me through all the interviews, thanks you letters, testing, and consulting appointment I was asked to attend by request of the future employer.
