We are a community-based organization that provides educational and economic opportunities for low-income communities of color in Chicago, with a focus on serving Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, East/West Garfield Park, and Austin.
Services
Greater West Town's programs have been recognized as effective models for closing the education and employment gap that many Chicago area residents experience. Every contract to use public money to address theses needs in the community has been completed or exceeded since 1992 when the vocational programs got started.
Are you motivated to create opportunities for Chicago's West Side residents? For over 25 years, GWTP has developed programs and policy initiatives that link the educational and economic needs of Chicago's low-income communities and communities of color with local economic development efforts and employers.
However big or small, your gift is an investment in ambitious people working to make a better life for themselves and their families. Thank you for supporting programs that train, educate, and empower the Greater West Town community. To make an in-kind donation of materials or items, or if you have questions about other ways to support GWTP, please contact Emily Summers at (312) 432-9595 or esummers@gwtp.org.
