The Mission Staff team is very professional. They work very hard to match a consultant's career goal with the right client opportunity. They build long-term relationships with their clients and consultants. The recruiters are very persistent in advocating the consultant. They communicate frequently with the consultant in finding and after placement into the opportunity.

They treat their consultants as people. They are fair in negotiating the hourly pay rate. The other Mission Staff consultants working at the same client can only be described as exceptional. I was very proud to work for them for a year. I would work for them again and recommend others to consider working for Mission Staff.

I agree 100% with everything that has been said here. Brett is somebody that every professional should have on their team. In my line of work I hear from a LOT of recruiters (and I mean a lot! Sometimes 3-5 a DAY), all asking the same things, but from the second I met Brett I knew he was in an entirely new league. He takes the time to form genuine relationships with his consultants, and doesn't rush to put anybody in a position that he doesn't think is a picture perfect match.

When I first met Brett, I was happily employed and I wasn't looking to make a career change, but still didn't want to turn down any offers. He wanted to meet me to see if I'd be a good match for a position he was filling and, after we spoke, we agreed that it was a bit premature for me to leave my current job. Fast forward a few years and I started to feel antsy in my current position and immediately thought of Brett.

He had checked in with me a few times during that year but always conversationally, not under the guise of needing to place me anywhere. He genuinely wanted to know what I was learning and how I was enjoying work. All I had to do was make a phone call and Brett instantly had THE job for me lined up. It was like he had read my mind about the absolutely perfect job for me.

The rest was a breeze. He walked me through every step of the process: from the interview to the offer letter, and even through the first days of work. I'm an owner of a small IT business that has been expanding. I depend on MIssion Staff to supply top talent. When I have an IT need, Mission Staff is my first call. When they stand behind someone, I know I can count on that person!

Staffing agencies: parasites, roamers, feeders on the great sea of resume plankton that exists in places like Dice and Monster. I get several emails/calls a week from recruiters who plainly do not care one way or the other who I actually am, who are terrible at their job, who are ravaging the scraps they can get from various corporations and are desperately trying to throw a body into a chair. Deceptive, manipulative, generally consider a necessary evil.

This description can be applied to about 95% of tech recruiters. Mission Staff is the complete opposite. They have worked with me for about a year now, and they have been the best recruiting firm I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Diligent, caring, and they genuinely give a crap about you beyond your skillset and physical form. I'm actually having trouble describing them beyond "GO THERE NOW, THEY WILL GET YOU WORK AND YOU WILL LOVE THEM." It's more than just a mercenary exchange; they look out and go to bat for their talent, and they take the time to form real, personal relationships with you. They're colleagues and they're friends. GO THERE NOW. THEY WILL GET YOU WORK AND YOU WILL LOVE THEM.

I have to agree with Scott C. Missionstaff embodies everything I'd want in a recruiting firm. Genuinely interested in finding me a job for the long term, not the churn-and-burn to get another placement fee I've seen from others. No wasted time with companies I wouldn't be interested in or who wouldn't be interested in me -- just solid, helpful, and personally-invested. I've seen the other side of their work now too, as they've placed other people here with me. They're very good at sending people who're going to fit in, both with skillsets and with personalities.

Everyone else I've talked to has said the same thing. Missionstaff wants long-term relationships with both companies and applicants, they're helpful and follow through on what they promise. The only downside is that I had such a great experience with them that everyone else pales by comparison.

One of the best staffing agencies I've had the pleasure to work with. During a very long recruiting process where many complex variables where involved such as a cross country move, housing situation and the like. I heard from Meg (my Mission Staff recruiter) basically every day and sometimes more. There are few recruiters that I have met with that have anywhere near the communication skills, patience and knowledge that Meg and Mission Staff posess. It should speak volumes that even though I had to deciline the position I still communicate regularly with the folks at MS.
