The team at Ford was a massive help to me and worked tirelessly to match me with some great clients. I would highly recommend contacting their staff if you are looking for work in the DMV.

KATIE SENNETT is the recruiter I was connected with after submitting my resume. She was very responsive and contacted me with some great opportunities. Unfortunately (yet, fortunately for me), I accepted another position. At any rate, I would certainly recommend Katie Sennett to others.

Wow! I just got off the phone with Diana, who is the Founder/President of the Ford agency, and it was an overwhelmingly great experience. To make a long story short, I had a small mix up with an employee on the phone and Diana gave me a call to follow up on the matter. She not only atoned for the mix up, but also gave me extraordinary customer service. Diana is very serious when she says that customer service is very important to her and her team at the Ford Agency. I will be sure to continue to sing Diana's praises anytime a colleague or co-worker asks me about the Ford Agency. Thanks again Diana!

BEST AGENCY I have come in contact with hands-down. Ainsley helped me secure a job with exactly everything I wanted PLUS so much more. She was always quick to email me back and even went out of her way to check in on me during the process. Excellent communication and now I am working for one of the best firms in DC with incredible people. So thankful for Ainsely and all of her hard work! Amazing!

UPDATE: I gave them a 4 star review. The Ford Agency amended the issues that had transpired. Even though there was an issue of when I was exiting the position, one of Ford representatives reached out to me, and they requested me to work for the last of my two weeks, even though it was 4 to 5 hours. I gave them a three stars for a reason. Good company in regards to you finding employment fast, if you have a good amount of skills and experience.

But communication towards the end of employment was not so great. Now I understood before hand that putting in my two weeks notice was also contingent upon them finding my replacement. But what bothers me is, that I found out by the company that they have the contract with when my last day was as oppose to them sending an e-mail to me of when my last day would be. That put me out of work for a week and we all know how much of week's difference that can be. Good company to work for, but beware of communication concerns.

They are a sales staffing organization but wont accept other people to offer them services. Bad policy and leadership.

I have worked with The Ford Agency for more than 10-years and have always found them to be a great company; professionally managed and staffed. I have hired a number of their candidates over the years and have always been impressed with the quality of their temporary staff. I highly recommend.

These people are dishonest, unprofessional and awful. They call you in, have you fill out paperwork, rewrite your resume, and tell you they have plenty of jobs that might be a good fit. I went on two interviews and that was it. Never heard from anyone again. They didn't have the decency to let me know I didn't get the jobs. Nothing.

They're awesome! The day of my interview, they already had me working. Now I'm working full time with a client! I would definitely recommend this agency to anyone looking for temp or temp to hire positions.

This agency is very helpful. Super friendly, always accommodating, and very quick to respond. I usually don't write reviews (no they didn't ask me to write one, either) but I had to with this one. Id recommend anyone job hunting to contact them. They rock!

I was extremely happy with my experience with the Ford Agency. They were all so helpful and responsive to my needs and concerns. After a few bumps in the road they were even there to talk me though all my options since I was so unhappy with my current job. They really boosted my confidence and gave me all the support I needed. They were in constant communication with me throughout the process, sending me job descriptions, interview confirmations, follow ups, etc. and I found a job within a month of working with them. And as a bonus my salary far exceeded my expectations! I definitely recommend them for any recent graduates trying to find their place in DC.

This agency is a joke. I only found out about it through Yelp and had never heard of them otherwise. I sent over my information to the Direct Hiring section of the agency, and swiftly got an email response within 24 hours asking for me to give them a call. In this specific email she sent me, the recruiter referenced a specific position. I called the following day and was asked about my background and what I was looking for. Did she bring up the position she referenced in the email to me? Nope.

Like a previous reviewer stated, as soon as I stated my salary requirement I could tell that she basically tuned me out. When she spoke, it was SUPER fast-- I couldn't even understand what she was saying. All I could make out was "we'll call you when we have something." I follow up with, "Can I call for updates? Staffing agencies tend to forget about candidates despite saying they'll reach out." She flat out responded, "No." She was so ready to end the call!

The call couldn't have been more than 3 minutes. Really? Ok, strike one. I sent an email to this recruiter, "D". and can you believe she never responded? The email was very detailed too. How unprofessional! Probably because I called her out on her contradiction in her initial email-- when she said she had a position she wanted to discuss with me and she never did. Even if you felt like the position wouldn't work for me after hearing what I'm looking for, at least respond and say something!

Wow they are awesome. Upon arriving to DC, I had a whole summer ahead of me with no plans before starting my PhD in the fall. Out of 6 agencies, the Ford agency was the fastest to get me placed and working. I've made hundreds of dollars that my husband and I weren't even expecting. Im so glad I applied and I wouldn't work for any other agency! get me placed

I am shocked to see all of these great reviews about this company. I wouldn't be surprised if they were all fake. Here is my story. I went in to meet with one their recruiters. I expected to meet the recruiter in a private area but instead we met in an open shared area where other recruiters were on the phone or perhaps listening to our conversations and it was uncomfortable and distracting.

As soon as the recruiter heard my salary requirement, I could tell that she completely lost interest. I didn't think I was asking for anything unrealistic. Anyhow, she tells me that next day that the employer had decided to pursue other candidates. Well, I had a feeling that she hadn't even tried to present my resume and I believe I am right because the hiring manager of that particular company (which I found out later that it was the same company) happened to contact me on LinkedIn and asked for my resume. We spoke and it turned out that they were interested in me. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this company.

I had a great experiencing working with the agency. I sent them my resume and they contacted me right way. A few days later I met them in person and they worked with my skills set and my desire for a certain position and they found an amazing temp job that turned into a full-time position. I've had a relationship with the Ford Agency for almost five years, and I can tell you that they are committed to helping their candidates find great professional opportunities. I first worked with Ford when I moved to DC in 2010 and they set up lots of interviews with great companies for me and eventually helped me land my first job out of college.

Three years later when I was on the hunt for a new opportunity, they worked their magic again. I ended up getting an offer from one of their client companies (which I turned down for a different job), but they supported me completely throughout the process. Everyone at Ford is courteous, professional, and hard-working. You never feel like you are on the back-burner; they make all clients feel like their #1 priority. I've referred countless friends to them over the years, and they all have shared a similar experience. I would not hesitate to use Ford again for a future job search.

I had a wonderful experience working with them! I had just graduated college and moved to DC in 2012 and was afriad I'd never find a job. I sent them my resume and they called me within a day and then with in a week I had a phone interview for a long-term temp job which I got within three weeks of submitting my resume. Not only did they get me my temp job almost immediately they also continued to set up interviews for permanent jobs.

My temp job ended up turing into a wonderful fulltime job with great experience but I appreciated knowing that until I had a full time job Ford was also actively looking for jobs that would fit my skill sets.

Fantastic agency! I could not believe how friendly and efficient everyone at the ford agency was. They all really seemed to care what my interests were and had me in a temp to hire position within weeks. If you are looking for work in the D.C. area I would give them a call first, my experience was smooth and painless

As a recent college graduate I depend on professional job agencies to work with. Ford seemed great at first but it was such a let down. This agency is the absolute worst. They are entirely too large so your application becomes a needle in a haystack (one that is never found). They bring you in for a promising interview, and then you never hear anything from their staff again. They're very friendly people, but beyond that do not expect anything in terms of landing an assignment.

I came in early. I was interviewed. The woman gave me a few pointers on adjusting my resume, and then her contact card. I completed the performance skills tests and aced them (you get your results on the screen). After that Ford was nowhere to be found. I left calls and emails that were never returned. What a joke. This is in comparison to two other agencies I've worked with in the D.C. area. They kept in constant contact with me and I've already completed a handful of assignments over four months.

WHY DOES THIS AGENCY HAVE TWO PROFILES ON YELP? Here is my review posted on their other profile. "This is the second employment agency I wish I could give zero stars to for wasting my time. I met with TB who conducted a 30 minute interview asking me about my career goals, experiences, etc. At the end she told me she didn't have anything for me at present that matched my skills.

But apparently in the past they had the type of positions I was seeking. Thanks a lot for wasting my time. You should have mentioned your lack of positions BEFORE you interviewed me."

Uses a generic employment ad to 'attract your attention' to calling them up and then nothing happens!

This is a great temp agency! I interviewed with them before I moved to DC. They helped me pick an apartment (and threw out some of the ones I'd found online) and really tried to find me temporary positions relevant to my interests. Great people, no contracts, I highly recommend them.
