The best things about Connexion Systems & Engineering is that they have some nice clients and some of the representatives seem to want to negotiate with you. Most of my time working with them has been unpleasant. Calls at 8am or earlier. Do not answer their phones or emails. They made no attempt to meet with me. I could have gone to the job interview with piercings and purple hair and they would never have known until after.
When discussing pay rate they offered me one thing and they reduced it when I agreed to it. When I needed to get the paperwork notarized, the notary tried calling them for information and was treated very poorly. I have had similiar phone experience when I got through to them. When I started at my position I emailed them for some info. After a month I am still waiting on responses.
I finally got fed up and was offered a position at another place with another agency. I was not told the proper procedure for leaving, so I gave my 2 Weeks to my Manager. 30 Minutes later I get a call from the woman who would not return my calls or emails and she is screaming at me that I did not follow procedure. How I said I would not take "X" postion if it wanted me before the end of this contract, and how I am ruining my reputation.
Side note: Connexion had me give a 1 week notice to my prior job which I was only back at for about 3 weeks. She is commenting on how I should have called her first. Because that had been so effective in the past. My manager was going away for a week and I needed to do this within a window of time. I could not wait for her to check her voicemail and decide to make time to call me. Pro: Big Names And maybe better pay that what you are getting now. Con: Poor Service. Staff that seems to hate their jobs and take it out on the customers.
