I do not recommend this staffing agency. Just like one of the other reviewers stated, Kristen is nice but not responsive. I had to speak to different recruiter to receive information on a job she had submitted me for. It's a bit concerning since she's the manager. Don't waste your time, go elsewhere.

I had the pleasure to work with Jason Smith while trying to find new employment. Jason was unbelievably phenomenal through the entire process. It could not have been a smoother process. He was very thorough and made me aware of all of my opportunities at that time. He even responded while in vacation! I had forwarded his info to a friend since he was so great with myself during the recruitment process. Now Jason said once they get hired, I will get a $200 referral bonus! Completely unexpected! If you are thinking of using Jason, I wouldn't hesitate any longer!

I had a very bizarre experience with one of their recruiters. After a great phone screen our initial meet and greet was scheduled during a debilitating snowstorm that shut down schools and roads. Knowing this in advance, I sent her an email asking to reschedule. I didn't hear back for several days. When I reached out again, she finally responded with a single time of availability that just happened to not work for me.

I responded as such and was met with the most bizarre hostility where the recruiter insisted she had maxed out on the amount of times she could reschedule our interview- which of course had never happened. Meanwhile, the company that was interested in hiring me through this staffing agency had already reached out, scheduled an interview with me, and looked forward to working with me.

When I shared this information with the recruiter she responded that she *might* be willing to overlook the company's policy on repeated rescheduling to work with me, when again, we had never rescheduled in the first place. She repeatedly addressed me by name so I don't think this was a case of mistaken identity. I just have to assume this recruiter is bittmentally unstable and unfit to work with people.

I seeked out help from this agency in March somewhat before the pandemic really started to hit. The staff weren't responsive. And I only met with one of women until they switched me to another person in which I only heard from once and didn't seem to be updated about what I was looking for. I continuously asked them about jobs but no luck. Wouldn't recommend.

I went in looking for some help finding a job right out of college and met with John for an interview. Every person I interacted with there was professional and helped me with the process of getting my paperwork in order and finding contracts that would be of interest to me all while taking into account my prior commitments (such as a contract I had already signed for the summer) and transportation situation. John and Jason have both been incredibly helpful in securing me a position and it only took me a couple weeks to have an interview and a position at a company that I enjoy working at, something very unlikely had I been going through the process on my own. If you are looking for work that fits your needs, and people to help you find it, they are definitely the ones to give a call.

I have worked with KNF&T in the past and I had a great experience. I got a new recruiter Kristin, and while I thought she was a nice person. She was unresponsive. If someone isn't selected for a position, please dont waste there time and update them. Also, I would send emails asking about other positions and she would completely ignore it and not respond.

She only responds to when she has a question. She looked at my resume and offered a position that is clearly me going backwards in my career and she was not happy when I was honest and said, although this sounds interesting, it would be a backward step for me. As a job seeker, if I am looking for a position weather the position is closed or still open please communicate with me.

I was very dissatisfied and it made me want to go tell my other HR colleagues not to use KNFT because they don't communicate and treat there potential employees correct. As a HR director, I wouldn't recommend that. I would hate to have an employee think we dont communicate because of misrepresentation. Left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I've worked with many temp agencies in the for about 7 years and KNFT is one of THE BEST temp agencies I've ever worked with in the city. One of the best jobs I've ever gotten as a temp was with KNFT. And Madeline Bushney was one of the best recruiters I've ever worked in my life. She is very understanding but also gives it to you straight. Beth Cabrera top notch Executive President.

They are just exceptional women. Unfortunately I am just not in a good place in life now and missed out on 3 placements that could've gone permanent but as a company and the women I worked with they are beyond understanding. I highly recommend to work with them. The temp life is not for everyone you gotta really put yourself out there and as recruiters they recognize those who are serious about wanting a job.

Their side may not be so easy with having people being unreliable at times but also keeping a good relationship with the client. I highly salute these two wonderful women. thank you for the many chances. I am deeply grateful.

I've been working with KNF&T for just 1 month long if I could leave 0 stars I would they are very sloppy and unprofessional. Takes them days to respond. Recruiters are answering other recruiters phone and not passing messages on. They also lowered my pay after already giving me my offer letter. My manager on site had many bad things to say about them as well. My training was never scheduled on time. They're other companies I'll try out but this one is just terrible.

Let me tell you something. KNF&T is now in the ranking of "an embarrassment". One VERY senior recruiter that I had communication with for years, would always check in with me, ask to "meet up again to check in", say she had tons of roles for me, then DISAPPEAR. Most recently, she posted a role on LinkedIn for a senior position and I emailed her directly via email.

She never responded to that email, or other emails for the other positions she posted. I found a great role on my own without an agency, and within MINUTES of my role being posted after giving my 2 weeks notice, this recruiter has THE AUDACITY to email me and ask for an introduction to my company so she could help "place" in the role I was exiting.

I responded and pointed out that the emails I had sent her for months, had gone unanswered. She made up some pitiful excuse such as "Oh that's because we didn't have any roles for senior positions such as yours." GTFOOH. This company BRAGS that it is some sort of beacon of light as it's owned and run by women. Such a LAUGH. I tried using them for 10 years, but now I'm out.

I had very different experiences. Just moved to the Boston area after getting married in March. When I spoke to Michelle and then Courtney (and one other who I think is ALSO gone now!) back in March, they were fantastic. They were helpful, positive about the company and very professional. I was very impressed. This time around, not at all. Apparently both of them left the company and after meeting with a new recruiter who said she would be "managing" me, it was a huge fail.

They were not nice, not helpful, and really didn't have great things to say about the way the company is run. It made me a bit nervous, honestly. I am interviewing with three companies through another agency over the next week and have not returned the calls from this new recruiter. I wish I could find the first recruiters I worked with! They were awesome!

Such a straight forward, and seamless process with KNF&T, I highly recommend them! I submitted my resume for their Staff on Standby program, and was contacted within 24hrs to gauge my interest in other contracts available. I came in for an interview with Irene the following day, and was presented with 3 contract options from highly reputable organizations. KNFT was even able to accommodate my need for a location near the T. From start to finish, I was employed and earning a paycheck within 3 days of submitting my resume!

Let me start with I do not like to leave reviews. However, people need to be warned before contracting and deciding to work for this company. I only worked for this staffing agency for a month due to it being such a dysfunctional company. You are supposed to get paid every Thursday. However, you get your check Friday or the following Monday. Never consistent.

Same with your tax information. They are supposed to send it out by 1/31. Again, you do not receive it till the end of February. Also, they tell you that you will make a certain hourly rate then when you go for your interview you are given something different. I was promised once hired onto the company that my rate would be $25+ an hour. However, when my acceptance letter was written by the hiring company the rate was $20 an hour.

They have no communication with their contracting companies or their candidates. If you do not want a headache then use a different staffing agency. There are so many out there. I have worked for staffing agencies in the past for major hospitals and never had this much of a headache or dissatisfaction.

A complete joke. Staffing firms are a dime in dozen, I've worked with plenty of them. But KNF&T left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. I waited about a half hour to meet with this "VP", who proceeds to offer me the world (all these exciting opportunities and amazing salaries!) Shockingly, none of these "amazing opportunities" panned out. That's fine-- BUT after promising me an interview with one of them, completely ghosted on me.

This from a "vice president" of this sterling company-- very professional! I just wish I could get my train fare back. ETA - I worked with the same amazing VP, Jason Smith, as Kayla did in her review below.

If i could give ZERO STARS I would. HEADS UP LENGTHY POST! I had applied for several positions at this company for work and shortly after applying was contacted by Madison Soares for an over the phone interview with Jason Smith who is the lead recruiter/VP in the accounting/finance area. I was scheduled for a call with Jason Smith for 1:30pm on 6/4 and by 1:45pm still had not received any call or any messages saying there was going to be a delay, so I emailed them to see if the call needed to be rescheduled because after having waited 15 mins I started to feel like there was no regard for my time and no communication -- around 1:50pm I received a call from Jason Smith apologizing and saying he had a tight schedule.

After speaking with Jason Smith there seemed to be an understanding of what I was looking for and what positions they had that catered to my skill set and resume. Jason Smith had said that he had two companies that are a match for what I am looking for. Jason Smith then said that he would put my resume to the two companies and would get back to me in a day or two.

A WEEK LATER -- no call back as stated by Jason Smith by weeks end of 6/4, no returned calls for the two voicemail messages I sent --- one the week of 6/4 and the other this week. Today 6/14 I call KNF&T and see if there is someone else I could work with that would better value me and receive an update on the two companies I was told my resume was pushed to-- I was transferred and left a message for Stephanie McCoy who returned my call and said to me that she could not access the file of any of her colleagues to see what positions I've been pushed through for and their responses (if any) so she referred me back to the woman Madison Soares. Stephanie McCoy was kind enough to send me an email after and cc: Madison Soares on the email -- who had said to Stephanie McCoy that she would like for me to send my resume AGAIN after having sent it a week prior. which i thought was strange given that I was told my resume was pushed to two companies--- So okay, I reply all and send my resume as a pdf and word doc. 4:08pm Madison Soares, emails me back and says that she spoke to the lead recruiter (Jason Smith) and there is no positions that match my resume.

So of course like any human I feel completely disrespected and bamboozled. I responded back and told her in conclusion-- due to the lack of regard and respect for me and my time to take me off of their system and I do not want to move forward with working with them. Stay far away from this company, there are better agencies that will value you as a job seeker and will be very upfront, honest and full of integrity and morals; not swindle you giving false hope and screen your calls. And above all have the decency to speak to you personally and be honest with you about your stance while working with them.

Nice place, just wasn't for me. They only have so many relationships around the city, i have been to one interview and it was awful. It wasn't for what i wanted, knf&t insisted i go and when i went, it solidified that i didn't want to be there. I tell them i only want to work in the city and they keep trying to push long 2 hour commutes on to me and i have to repeat myself about what i want as an employee.

I think they just need to listen more to their clients and if people tell them no, they shouldn't try to insist. Also they called me during the only interview i had with them and my phone was on ring, very embarrassing for me and it was to see how my interview was. I lost that job offer before i declined the call.

More of the same, unfortunately. Candidates are just a means to an end for them. They don't call when they say they will, they don't follow-up when they say they will, but you're expected to provide everything they ask of you, and ASAP. They used to be great two years ago. Very thorough, very helpful. but for whatever the reason, their culture seems to be sinking nowadays. No respect for the applicants.

I applied for a job I saw online and was contacted by KNF&T. I did not apply through their web site or with them as an agency. I got a call that same day after 5pm from Maura Gilbert asking to set up a call to discuss the job etc. She sent me an email so I would have her address and I followed up the very next morning before 9am. After not receiving a response for a couple of days I sent another email.

Still no response. After more than week since the original email I called to make sure she was getting my emails. The receptionist sent me to her voice mail. I left a polite message. It's been more than 2 weeks since she first contacted me and I still haven't received an email or a phone call is response. I wouldn't work with an agency that doesn't respect their clients.

They're ok. I was impressed with them back when I first contacted them when I was still in DC but once I moved here I got a better sense of what they were about. I didn't like how they consistently tried to talk me down from my preferred salary and I suspect it's because they wanted a bigger cut of the takeaway, which never sat well with me.

They connected me with a couple of interviews but nothing came of it. I got a homework assignment from one of the companies and went round and round with one of their recruiters trying to get it right. It annoyed me tremendously how many times we went over it again and again, felt very micromanagery and not at all respectful of my time. There are a few reviews here and word around the staffing grapevines I've been part of that speak to the network of their relationships with employers not being as broad or as great as it can be. I've found that they have a decent relationship with government, but if you're looking to be placed beyond that, consider looking elsewhere.

Had a horrible experience using KNF&T. Worked with Natali and after our initial call, she never got back to me unless I initiated. Once she finally got back to me, all she said was nothing was available. Zero help at all! Made promises to assist in my job search and all she did was waste my time.

Worked with them awhile back and had nothing but a good experience. Can't complain, granted this was in 2008, but my experience was over all positive. I'm very satisfied with these guys. I've gone to some temp agencies and they never get back to me (I'm not sure if that's an error on my part, though). While I have not found a job with these guys, so far, they continue to reach out to me and have been setting me up with meetings and interviews. Either they're innovative jokesters by setting me up, or they're a trusted agency. I'd definitely recommend these guys if you're in need of a temp agency.

I'v had an interview with Alexa at KNFT She liked my resume and my skills Right then she told me she is willing to employ me and told me to summit all my paperwork including my vaccinations never forgot that I have paid for all my vaccines. The next day she call me and said she has a good news for me and that she found a position at BETH ISREAL DEACONS HOSPITAL.

I took the offer and she had giving me the days I should work then when she was to confirm the day I should start. She never call me. She started ignoring my calls then she said the position has been filed. This place is a scum not only they took my social security but also my personal information including my bank account. Don't go to this place do not do the same mistake I did. Don't allow them to take your documents before offering you a job. they are thieves.

I found a job posting of KNF&T's listed on Indeed that looked interesting, so I applied for it. The next day I received a call from someone in their Westborough office asking if I could come in for an interview. I agreed, filled out their online application, sent them my resume for the second time, and started reviewing the paperwork they wanted me to fill out before my interview.

They gave me a W-9 and a direct deposit form to fill out and sign *before* I was hired, or even offered a position. That seemed kind of sketchy, so I just didn't fill them out. When I got to the interview, I was told to give them my resume for the third time and that it was necessary for me to go complete an I-9 before my interview. As some of you may know, you DO NOT have to fill out an I-9 before you are given a job offer.

But KNF&T hadn't even interviewed me yet! So I asked if I could do the interview first since I wasn't comfortable filling out the I-9 yet. My consultant, Lisa, rolled her eyes and said she didn't understand what was wrong, everyone has to fill out an I-9 otherwise they can't get hired. She gives me this weird roundabout argument about how it's different because I would be working for the agency, and not the client company, so I can fill out the I-9 now. I'm feeling VERY uncomfortable at this point, but we proceed with the interview anyway.

She then asks me all the questions the online application asked, and she asked me if I had applied for a specific position. I said yes, but why she didn't have it in her records/files/notes? She claimed she did, but just not in front of her at that moment. I described the job listing to her and she said "Oh man, you are not gonna believe this, but that position has been filled already!" (Three days after I initially applied for it.) She then suggested I keep applying for jobs on their website and to stay in touch with her via email. So. basically I needed to do all the actual work and they'd take their commission. Nice.

To summarize: Fairly certain this place is a scam. They asked for my social security number and bank account information before they'd even interviewed me or offered me a job, and then told me the spot I wanted was filled and to just keep searching for jobs. Great.

I had the pleasure to work with Nichole from KNF&T when I first moved to Boston in August. To start, let me point out that all staffing agencies are the same. They have set contracts with clients, they have candidate pools and then they receive positions with specific needs to match the two. These come in and out all the time. With that in mind, KNF&T is one of the companies that I was referred to by a friend.

I met with Nichole on my initial visit, went over my resume, discussed what I was looking for, went over what they have available and went over some positions that KNF&T frequently have that I may be a fit for but are outside of my search. Not only was Nichole respectful, she was honest about expectations and turn around time. When you are the candidate, you are always in a rush and wish you had a direct line of communication 24/7.

It is necessary to be realistic since clients aren't always the best at letting them know what the status is. Nichole found me a number of interviews relatively quickly. She was responsive and BEST OF ALL- when she wasn't available there were people on her team to speak to so that I didn't feel like I was bounced around from voicemail to voicemail.

The reason to reach out them above most is that they are genuinely placing you with Hiring Managers they respect. Nichole placed me with a remarkable manager who was bright and respectful. The salary was in the range we discussed and best of all, my hiring manager had an idea about my personality and work ethic before I started because Nichole took the time to tell her. It is always going to be a staffing firms job to fill the position, but with so many options out there- you will have your fit in the right door with them.

I moved to the Boston area from another state in August of 2014. I contacted quite a number of temp agencies prior to getting here, and interviewed with KNF&T as one of them. Quickly, I was placed at a decent job at Northeastern. Seems like a pretty good agency, right? Not at all. After that assignment ended, it was hell getting work with them, and miserable trying to talk to the representatives I was assigned.

I was pretty open about jobs I wanted but was never offered anything even close.not even in the same ballpark. The pay rates were always far off as well (and I was being what reasonable, given what I had heard from other agencies). I understand that during the holidays, things could get slow, but it was ALWAYS 'slow.' Quite the business.

But the worst part of KNF&T are the representatives. Wow, were they terrible to talk to. I was hardly ever contacted about new postings. I always had to reach out, every week, hell, every few days, to remind them I was out there unemployed. They made what seemed like no effort, which is sad.given that it's you know, their job. And speaking with them on the phone or through email was painful.

They always seemed to resent me calling and asking about jobs. And if I were to turn down a position ($10/hr for a reception role?! wow!), they took it as if they were personally offended. This place is a joke. Go to Atrium. Go to John Leonard. Go anywhere else.

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren while searching for a position with KNF&T. Sharing my experience might shed some light on the process for those of you that are job hunting. I am a newly admitted attorney and was hit with the pretty harsh reality that the job market is much more competitive than I was expecting. I was unemployed for a few months and had sent out hundreds of applications when I finally decided that I may need some guidance.

I phoned a few other staffing agencies in the area first and was highly disappointed. I went in for interviews with the staffers and never heard from them again despite my numerous attempts to contact them. Finally I landed upon KNF&T's website and went in for what I assumed would be another dead end interview. My experience was quite the opposite. Lauren listened to my background information, gave feedback on my resume, and told me that she had some great placement ideas for me.

Two or three days later she got me one initial interview at a fabulous Boston office. A week or so after that I had another interview for a position that was an exact match for what I was looking for. I got the job and started the following Monday. Over the course of my employment I made an error on a timesheet and expected that I may not receive a paycheck that week.

I emailed Lauren and she went out of her way to take care of it for me within 24 hours. This type of individualized client service is what sets this place apart from the others in my opinion. I would most definitely contact Lauren for placement services in the future and would feel confident recommending her to friends and colleagues.

Waste of time. I was hesitant about going in for an interview - I went in years ago and I felt forced to take a job with a disgusting creature who was more into sexually harassing me than paying me for the work that I did. But I did. Maura & Kate are film flam artists - they say they have the high paying jobs, but all they have are 10 an hour reception jobs at horrible locations. Oh!

And the the receptionist there, is one of the least likable creatures to walk this earth. Sweetie, you're answering a phone and setting people up on a computer. Take it down a notch. I understand your life isn't going the way you wanted it to, but that's life. Taking it out on people isn't the way to do it. A smile never hurt. If you have the work experience(like I do), you're better off going it alone - the companies will come to you. Staffing companies, much like KNF & T are a complete was of time. If their staff had to actually work - they'd be collecting unemployment or change on the streets.

This staffing agency was an incredible disappointment. The company came highly recommended from two friends, and in early January I had an appointment with one of their agents/recruiters. Though I was only scheduled to meet with one agent, I ended up meeting with three. All three had great things to say about my experience and skills, and after nearly two hours at their office I left feeling confident.

I was told that typically they receive a large number of positions from companies towards the middle to end of January, and to be patient and they should have something for me. I informed them that I was looking for something accessible via public transit, and a permanent position. The position I originally applied for fit this criteria, but they said they felt I'd be a better fit at other positions.

I heard nothing back from them throughout all of January, and sent a followup email in early February. They indicated that they still did not have a position that would be a good fit, unless I wanted something contract/temporary. It is now early April, and they have not once gotten in touch with me since that followup email. As someone with an MBA and three years of marketing experience by, they should have something available to at least present to me. Instead, they dragged me along, and failed to follow through with anything they told me.

I give them 2 stars due to their professionalism through the initial conversations and during the meeting, but their lack of doing any effective for me with their services is, again, a huge disappointment.

I went to an interview with Leah one of the recruitment specialists at KNF&T and she was straight forward and didn't waist my time at all. She told me that since I have recently come to the US I have to start from lower paying jobs and climb up the ladder. I told her that I would like to work in which areas and in which fields and she said she will try her best.

After one week she sent me to an interview in one of the best hospitals in Boston on a temp assignment and the following week I started working there. 3 month later when I was reaching the end of my assignment she sent me to couple of interviews and I got a temp to perm position which I love. I absolutely recommend KNF&T to everyone and I have to say that I met with at least 6 or 7 other staffing agencies in Boston but KNF&T's staff are extremely professional and they work with many good organizations in Boston.

In December, I was looking for a job to bring in some income before attending school again in September. After submitting my resume to KNF&T, I had gotten a response right away. The next day, I went in to speak with several staffing consultants, who were quite helpful. Because I'm looking to return to school in September, it would be very difficult to find work because many employers are looking for employees who will stay longterm.

Their solution was to find me a contract temp job, which they did and within a week, I was working. The job itself is mindless and boring, but I cannot complain. The two consultants that I worked with for full time employment were extremely helpful and regularly checked in with me. They sent out my resumes to any positions that were in my field of interest and had opportunities to interview for other positions. Though I could not work my schedule around school and working, I would definitely come to these guys for future job searches.

I used the KNF&T agency in Westboro, MA and they are all rude, quite frankly. I was placed on "an assignment that's temporary that has potential to go more permanent" which in staffing agency terms means "temp to perm." First off, I worked there for 3 months and I had to call and ask when my hours had been met so that I could be considered for direct hire. THEY HAD NO IDEA.

When they called me back to notify me, they said "You reached your hours last week." Glad I was kept in the loop. Next, they sent the contract over to the company I was working for. The company was taking a long time deciding if they wanted to hire me so naturally, I was getting concerned. I called and talked to my rep at KNF&T and she was just plain rude.

I told her that something didn't seem right and that I had a bad feeling about them hiring me. She told me that if she was going to look for more jobs for me, I would have to put in my two weeks notice and she won't look for anything before I do that. So, going against my gut feeling, I didn't put a two week notice and two days later, I was let go from the company.

I called KNF&T back when I was let go and asked someone other than the recruiter I was dealing with (because my recruiter had left for the day at 330pm), if they could start looking for more jobs for me. The next day, my recruiter called me and gave me attitude for talking to another recruiter instead of her. Since then, I have only been talked down to and treated poorly by this agency. Honestly, my view is that if I'm working and a staffing agency is getting paid because I'M WORKING, they should treat me with respect.

I will never use this agency again because their recruiters are rude, insulting and just plain terrible at what they do. DO NOT USE THIS STAFFING AGENCY. There are 10 more in Worcester alone that far surpass this place and will treat you with respect.
